Time to give Michael & Kirsty "Peaky" names .... Glen is Peaky, Marie is Mrs Peaky but should be called Teacher for all the research and historical lessons she gives. Steve is Rusty and Nigel is Mr Fox. You know them better then we do, so what should we call them ? Maybe Trigger for all the guns Mike finds and Blade for the Sword Kirsty found ... Stay Safe & Keep Pulling!! ☘
Aloha Marie & Glenn! My favorite types of 💣 Bombs are those "inert" ones!😉I'm holding my breath whenever any of you pull those 💣out, and tear the Magnet off, then hand them back & forth to each other! 😳😑you can (almost) hear me saying; "put it in the bucket!!"☺ That was a very nice 🔫 too! Great video, looks like everyone had fun!
@@PeakyDippers I’m not sure where I’ve seen them working but recognised it from that, you folks are bloody amazing at identifying things and your channel is my new favourite I love ❤️ it Just one thing though my Mrs really struggles with your accents!! Are subtitles out of the question ? I’m fed up of keep telling her what yam saying 😂 just kidding about the subtitles she’ll get used to it.
Been subscribed to this channel for months and months now but I usually only watch Bondi and northhants. But this as turned into my new favourite channel over last few week's I've watched loads of videos with some cracking finds especially at gun bridge. And you can win stuff as well what more can you ask for GREAT VIDS AND PRIZES. keep up the good finds
That's so amazing of you to say ,thankyou for your comment and we truly appreciated it. We have lots more to come and hope to keep pulling up the history
I enjoy watching all of you so much. This time of year is just so busy , and being able to sit in the evening , with a cuppa tea , and watch your video is just a great way to unwind. If memory serves me, I seem to remember reading that bar shot was used to take the rigging down on the old sail ships.
Watching this from New Zealand. Although I do enjoy the content and amazed at all the finds, I am really appalled with the disrespect, disregard people have for the water ways in the UK throwing all their trash into the rivers and canals is disgraceful.
Thanks Wayne, This is so true, this country should be ashamed with the trash in the water, unfortunately the victorian people was the worse and till this day got no better
There are several volunteer groups in the U.K. that take a barge down the Canals & rivers pulling up everything they can fit onto the Barge. They use several grappling hooks, and when the Barge is almost overflowing with trash, they offload where someone awaits to collect & dispose of it. Then they take off again & refill that Barge several times in a day.. In France & Italy they drain some of their Canals. Once empty, crews go in and clean everything out. They have found some great & interesting finds that way too!
@@eringemini7091 I could imagine some of the finds would be amazing however it should never have got to this stage. I watch mud larking vids and the amount of boats and ships just left to rot away on the foreshores is disgusting. The owners should be charged huge fines. These boats would have had fuel tanks half full of petrol or diesel leaking into the water ways or oils and greases from the motors leaching out. There seems to be no respect for the water ways at all. I saw one vid where old concrete lamp posts that still had all the wiring attached dumped on a foreshore to try and stop erosion, they served no purpose at all as the tide went beyond the pile and eroded the banks anyway.
@@eringemini7091great info on the clean up. I often thought too how can there be that much junk in the canal, then I realize your country is older than ours.U.S. Here in Wisconsin I’m sure there is junk in our waterways, mostly fresh water streams n rivers
@@wayneblackwwell6439 your kidding only yourself if you think any other countries rivers are any cleaner, some stuff has been in UK rivers for hundreds of years and depending upon how populated any country is and how long that country has been populated will determine how polluted that countries rivers are. Most modern stuff has a high percentage of being stolen goods that the crook wishes to hide and get rid of any forensic evidence at the same time. So unless you are in lalaland your rivers will be as polluted as these rivers are. 😂😂Haha
Really enjoyed tonight's video! Marie, absolutely amazing history explanation. You are a natural ❤ This video had me smiling the whole time. Well done all on the finds. Love the Peaky spoon, great idea. Much love from Canada 🇨🇦
The first bullet isn't a .303. The .303 is a rimmed cartridge whereas that is a rimless cartridge. Without measuring it's difficult to be sure but it looked like a 30-06. The same calibre as the .303 (more or less) but using a much more powerful powder.
could be a belt wheel from a steam tractor engine. if it was a tracked wheel (coal mine/ tram/lead mine etc) it would have a flange on the one side to prevent it leaving the rail tracks. and looks to small for a road wheel
I've said it before and I'll say again.....I loves Mrs Peaky's voice for the information
Thank you. 🤗
Brilliant a something good to watch boom 💥 ya hope ypur well pile 👍 👏

The car parts (4.00) look like carbon faced clutch release thrusts or bearings.
Yes, that’s exactly what they are, I didn’t see them at the time

The Walther CP99 is a CO2 powered .177 air pistol, not a blank firer.
