As you probably all know, Nicky is about to give birth any day now so we haven't been able to do much filming so I went digging (see what I did there ;) This video was filmed a while ago but unfortunately, the hard drive crashed and we thought we lost all the footage forever! 🫣 I so glad we didn't though as this was one awesome adventure! Nicky and I had so many laughs with Si, Kev, Anna, Mike and Monika. We found so much treasure of all sorts it was incredible..what was your favourite find of the day? I like the uranium glass. Drinking 100yo lemonade is probably something I won't be doing as I'm going to be a dad 😅 but I hope you all enjoyed this adventure as much as we did...I think we have to go back to London don't ya reckon? Also if you want to get my magnets we still have the 20% discount going for you www.bondimagnets.com thanks everyone for watching and may the treasure be with yewwww! 😃🤙🙌
You could have licked the fish paste jar too! 🤣 So exciting to watch the fun your all having! I cant believe you guys stuck your tongue on 100 yr old lemonade! Crazy bas*ards! I hope Nikki's doing ok! Howdy from New Hampshire USA!
So happy to see you treasure hunting with Si-Finds, my favorite mudlarker. Since you're my favorite magnet fisher it was great to see the two of you together! Thinking of Nicky at this time and wishing you both the very best with the new magnet fisher!
Lovely memories, of a great day out, Leigh! But more importantly ‘Congratulations!’ to you and Nicky! Looking forward to meeting the little one, one day! All the best, Monika
Very glad your video was saved for all of us to watch. I bought two cobalt blue bottles from an estate sale two weeks ago. Both were dug up in 1970 in Annapolis, Maryland near the Statehouse. A large milk of magnesia bottle and a tiny bromo seltzer bottle. I always wanted to go out and dig up treasures like these. Cheers to all!
The home I grew up in in Pennsylvania dated back to the late 1700’s. Some of us six kids discovered an old bottle dump (much smaller that the gigantic one in this video!), that gave us years of bottle digging adventures! Since our house was built of stone, the windowsills were about 18 inches deep, and Mom displayed her favorite bottles on them; very pretty with the many different colors of glass. Eventually we all grew up and moved on to other pursuits, but I’m quite sure there are more bottles and other “bits” to be found in that old dump. Good luck to the next adventurer who starts digging there!
Hi It was fun to see you bottle digging with Si and friends. gosh Ive never seen so many nettles .in my life lol.I also watch Si mudlarking on the Thames. Some lovely finds. The piece I liked was the little duck. All the best for your upcomming parenthood
Two of the best Dudes on TH-cam! Thanks for sharing your bottle adventure Leigh, and all the best for the arrival of the little one. Hi to Si, and Happy New Year from Pittsburgh!
That site is so amazing! Seeing you with Si & friends rocks! Would be so cool to have one huge gathering of Metal Detector, magnet fishing, bottle diggers, etc at a place like that. Thxs for sharing!
You're with one of the best, Si finds some amazing stuff and he's a great craftsman, yet another of my favourite TH-camrs I need to binge watch to catch up with videos. Great video, I love the bottle digging, mudlarking, meta; detecting and magnet fishing channels, just don't have time to watch many.
Welcome to Bottle Hunting! I do this along with Magnet Fishing too. The oldest one I've found is from 1896 in Savannah, Georgia. I almost had a heart attack when I saw it sticking out of the mud in a drainage ditch. Hope you make more videos doing this and also if Si-Finds takes you to the Thames!!
Wow! That looked so fun! Digging in the dirt and finding old stuff would be a great adventure for me! Those old bottles and pretty much artifacts are so cool! Treasure for sure!
Hi, Leigh and Nicky. Nice to see you all busy finding interesting bottles, coins and knickknacks. Well done, 'Eagle-eye' Nicky, for spotting an old coin.Never thought I'd be hearing about a uranium glass find on this channel, either. I'm guessing this footage is from about 2021 (or thereabouts) going by the comment about the date of the old newspaper pieces. Thanks for sharing. Stay healthy and safe 👍
This video makes me excited for the spring and summer. My wee and I will be heading out with our metal detectors AND our magnet. Right now, the cosy fire and your adventures are enough lol. Can’t wait to hear about the arrival of the bean! Tell Nicky painkillers are her friend lol 💚🇮🇪💚
I've never really been excited about the bottle-finding videos but when Leigh posts I watch and am happy I did my favourite part is seeing Leigh getting excited about his finds ☺️💕 my favourite finds and reactions were the lemonade bottle and the duck!
Another great video today. Si, Cuff and the other mate were a great team today. That collection of bottles are always interesting to see. Happy New Year to all there today. See you on the next, Leigh! Cheers mates! 🇦🇺🇬🇧👍🙂🇺🇸
So many of my favorite people in one place! Looks like it was super fun, and Nikki got to clamber around, too, and find a great coin! What a beautiful day. ❤ 🌞
That was so much fun to watch! I loved seeing you with Si-Finds. I hope because you were in London anyway, you also met up with Nicola. And did a mudlarking with her 😁
Vulcanite bottle stoppers were used in some bottles here in South Australia until the 70's in Woodroofe's Lemonade. Pressed metal caps relaced everything. Happy New Year to you and Nicki.
That was so much fun to watch. It’s incredible the history that you pulled out of the soil. Sincerely hope Niki is doing great. What a great group of friends to go with. Happy Holiday Season Leigh and Niki. Wishing your little family the very best in the New Year.
Oh my word how cool is this place ❤ my sister was lucky enough to find over 50 bristol blue glass bottles in her garden when they were renovating. Do love glass it's so interesting. Happy new year to you and Nicky 🎉
Great finds out there in that stinging nettle jungle. That was an awesome spot to treasure hunt because you could stay busy finding things. Loved it, and see you next time. Happy New Year!!🎉
So happy to see you bottle digging! It’s an awesome hobby. I have been digging a few years. Not the first time I’ve seen Si drinking 100 year old lemonade haha. Great video!
So glad that you managed to find the footage…this was such good fun. So many bottles too! For a nettle sting you need to find a dock leaf…they usually grow where the nettles are, just rub the leaf onto the sting and it stops it stinging! Thank you to all….Have a great New Year and take care Nikki and Bondi…❤️ Dottie xx
Very cool video. I definitely have to do that too. We have garbage holes in the forest. There's either stuff from the war or just rubbish in there.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ok that was awesome! Never have I heard of bottle dumping/digging lol. That is a lot of amazing bottles. You love to take risks, lol. 100 plus yr old lemonade. lol. I hope Nicky is doing well. I was wondering about the video till I read your post. lol At first I'm like ok, where did Nicky's baby belly go? lol I'm glad you didn't lose everything from the hardrive. Have an awesome New Year and congrats on the new bundle when he/she arrives. :)
