- For my birthday back in October, I allowed myself a special treat (=very pricey). 3 days at the Waldorf Astoria in Bangkok! Of course I had to do a little hotel review / trip report. While the hotel has an impeccable reputation on social media, I couldn't avoid noticing some flaws, however those were more subjective matters than true, obvious flaws. For example that scent I mention in the video. Maybe it's indeed intended, and a bliss for others. But you be the judge.

I just realized that in the video it looks like as if the Lebua tower rooftop bar is part of the Waldorf Astoria. It’s actually a completely different building, and I just wanted to give a little guidance about Bangkok. My apologies if this was misleading:((

That’s a wonderful hotel and could really spoil anyone after that stay. I especially like that bar on the top with the view of the lighted steps leading to the done like structure. It was a spectacular hotel indeed, but beware, the rooftop bar isn’t part of the Waldorf Astoria. I just wanted to show a bit of the other Bangkok. I hope I didn’t mislead too much.

Kia Ora Chris!!! Wow, what a beautiful Hotel. I love the view from the Pool and the Room was very spacious!! I am always one for double vanities with two sinks 🙂 I was at Sky Bar over 9 years ago and dined at Sirocco!! I nearly fell back when i heard of the cost of drinks for 2023!! OMG!!! Anyhow, hope you and family had a great xmas and looks like Happy Birthday Wishes to you as well 🙂 Take Care

I would say the St Regis and the Park Hyatt are better than the Waldorf Astoria tbf

What an incredible place to spend three days. Those views were stunning at night. I had to laugh a little bit at the traffic down on the street...it looked like complete gridlock.
