Phuket's Most ENIGMATIC Hotel? - The SLATE

- A step into another dimension, that's how I felt when I checked into this otherworldly place, into a whimsical world, called The Slate Phuket. It's a luxury hotel with unique accommodations, despite the size feeling like a boutique hotel in Phuket, and I'd definitaly consider it again on my next Phuket travel, or Thailand vacation. I'd also call it a design hotel, or artistic accommodation. Definitely an exotic retreat, if not a hidden gem in Phuket. For sure, the Black Ginger is one. More about that in the hotel review :-)

This, of course, is only one of 5 hotels I have been on Phuket, so I only can presume that it is the most enigmatic hotel / resort. But it surely is on the more extreme end. Let me know of any other artsy, or whimsical accommodations in Phuket. Would love to visit them:)

Thank you for the nice comment. I suppose (hope) that I was just unlucky with the group of guests I stayed at the same time. The hotel seems more upscale than the people were, if I may say so. And if my video is good PR for the hotel, then they deserved it, because it’s my honest opinion (since I paid everything myself, no sugar coating). Greetings from Southsea, UK.

What an amazing place! Thank you for sharing your experience. I too think that I would have to spend some time at the beach each day to achieve some real relaxation.
Thank you for your kind comment. Yes this place is more like an experience than an oasis of relaxation. But luckily the beach was only 5 steps away.
