Dude!! I just bought that same bag of turf from a local model railroad shop!

Nice! I go these from Hobbytown USA in the train section myself ;) Love this stuff!

You should do more painting videos in 2023.

BTW...i really like the artwork thumbnails. I think that adds quite a bit, particularly if you are attempting to follow the art specifically.

Oh yeah for sure! It shouldn't be on the viewer to guess how close I got to the artwork and showing it at the start means they've seen it and can reference when I actually start painting :) Adrian Smith just makes things difficult :P

Hey guys! What did you think of my first real attempt at basing? Would you like to see more Blood Rage miniatures painted and if so what? There's a vote going on over at Patreon for miniature painting as well since I have additional games to draw from.

Nice video! You dont use any primer or base? your toughts about it? I am new in this and trying to find effective and easy ways how to paint and i want to paint my bloodrage minis too :)

Great question - yes I do! In these earlier videos I did not think about mentioning and showing that I do, and I prime with a gray primer so it looks like it is not primed, causing confusion on all of them - sorry about that! :) I have since started showing that :D There are actually a few types of paints like Vallejo's game colors that can stick to the plastic of the miniature, however in my opinion it does not take much time to prime and unless you have the exact color you want right away it seems like a rather expensive way to prime a mini :) If you don't prime at all or well the paint will not stick. You can check my video for the Fallout Brotherhood Outcast to see what that both the paint with no primer as well as priming with paint looks like.
As for actually painting them, this is exactly why I started this channel! I'm not some pro level guy at all - if I can do it then so can you! Hope you enjoyed the video! I bet a new video in for Blood Rage will pop up here soon ;)
