ESB is the only backing band to be inducted into the R&RHOF in their own right, independent of who they're backing, so you can't really call them underrated. They don't get a lot of attention because they don't seek it. They are talented, dedicated professionals who don't need to be in the limelight.
Max, like the other musicians has honed his craft over the years. They are all capable of giving that bit extra when an opening for their particular skill occurs. I have seen it often in the later concerts posted on TH-cam. As an act they are unique.❤❤❤❤❤❤

Without Max Weinberg this would be just a good song, but Max's drumming elevates it to heart-rending brilliance.
