I’ve never had children but I do have fibroids. I started having to pee more often after a number of years past menopause and had trouble holding it. I was getting up 3-4 times a night to pee. Then a couple of doctors on TH-cam said if you are low in testosterone you may develop the problems I’m having in menopause. I was diagnosed with low testosterone in my early 40’s when my doctors thought I was perimenopause but I wasn’t (just low t). They told me there was nothing they could do about it and I told them the UK and Canada had testosterone gel in low doses. They said sorry. It was around 1998. I’ve lived with the effects of low t since about 1994. Recently one of the new menopause doctors recommended taking DHEA. She recommended prescription but if your doctor wouldn’t, to get OT (she gave some brands). I started on 5mg of the Pure brand DHEA almost 2 weeks ago. I immediately started getting up less at night! Most nights I get up once, 2 hrs after I last peed and turned out the light. I’ve had two nights where I got up twice. I haven’t had an accident since I started. I also have more energy. The first week I had a drop in energy around dinner time where I returned to my “normal” energy levels which seemed ridiculously low. It’s been 13 days so I have a ways to go but so far I’m happy.
Dear doctor Susan, thank you for the work you do, for advocating for so many women suffering menopausal symptoms and for giving solid advice. I have a question! I have been suffering greatly from severe nasal dryness. It has been driving me crazy for over three years now (I am 52 currently). I have been taking HRT and it helps with hot flashes, sleep, mood swings. I do have some vaginal dryness and when my next check up rolls around in November, I'll ask the gyno for a estrogen vaginal cream. But what to do with the nose? It may seem to people like I am being too demanding. We all get old and we'll inevitably develop symptoms of discomfort, I get it. But the severe dryness of nasal passages, crusting, poor breathing, especially at night is making me miserable. Please share any info about nasal dryness in menopause and how to treat it. Thank you

Can you do the Emsella Chair if you have implants in your lower back?
Fibroid can cause too
It’s important that you’re working your whole cord tho. Emsella is not going to fix the issue.
