6 Forgotten Space Simulation Games to Revisit in 2024! - เกม
X4: Foundation, check it out guys! One of the most underrated Space games ever!
And X4: Timelines is on the way!
It's legit mind-blowing to me. Such a cool game. Too bad my CPU can't handle it properly! 🥲 X3 is cool but I primarily play on a laptop monitor and the UI is too small if I don't lower the resolution and make everything blurry. If only there was a mod for scalable UI.
Astrox is a nice game made by a responsive solo dev who deserves to be supported :) Thanks for the video!
Yes I've watched a lot of his dev logs over the years and its great to support this sort of work!
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw
It's the best story driven space cowboy game out there imo.
Oh, Astrox! One of the best of its genre I have ever wanted. Great game!
Yes its a lot of fun! :) Glad you liked it :)
It boggles my mind that star sector came out in 2011 and is still receiving updates and the modding is nuts.
Star Sector is a great game. It was included on the last list I think!
It has evolved a lot. The Ssethtide also helped spread the word.
Space Sim games are by far my favorite of all time. I'm always on the hunt for something awesome. I had all the games in this video already on my wishlist..or already in my library. :)
Had so much fun in Pulsar with my mates. I was always the pilot - Pom Taris.
Be careful with Starbase. It was abandoned for a while. Don't put your money there until they deliver a 1.0 and it is reviewed.
Well they Had an Update in April sooo after the Apologie they wann donnow Focus mire on starbase
@@ZeroZemial Anyone can say anything. Can they deliver on those promises? I'd say their past performance puts it in doubt.
I wish them the best, but they are not getting a cent out of me until they deliver a finished product.
@@CptFugu Well lets Hope they do mire Updates
Star Base is a HILARIOUS scam.
#Starbase, Pausing on development is not a train smash. The emphasis you based on this statement is concerning! You do not know the circumstances around why the developers stopped for a brief period & did not put context to it either. So I would "err" on the caution of your message.
Amazing list bro I will def revisit some of these!
Glad you're liking Starbae and happy it made the list! Now we wait for FB to do something!
Great videos hope you hold up the good work.
TH-cam just recommend me this video, I've watched it, loved it and subscribed. Thank You.
Really glad! So much more on our channel also 🚀🚀
Thanks for the video :)
I'd love to see a 4x space game with the fun and simplicity of Master of Orion: Conquer the Stars but with the expanse of Stellaris but without all the micromanagement monkeying around and "let's make it more complicated" done to Stellaris. Do we have a game like that, yet?
man i love this channel even more for this video
Glad you enjoyed it! Awesome feedback. Some great games to revisit here!
This was a much more informative list than most, i watch a lot fyi , many are really sketchy , totally positive even about games with issues, thanks
Great feedback! Always listening and improving. I was really happy with the quality of this list :)
Angles Fall First. It's been completely playable for years but it's just now coming out of early access.
Cool, I'm always looking out for new space games
Make sure to check out the whole series on the channel!
Loving the list… and the relentless output from gamings hardest working toobteam…. no slacking!
I didnt even know about that X3 dlc. I havent beaten any mission in any x3 before. One day ill give it a try. Too busy enjoying rebirth in VR.
I'm gonna replay Farnham's Legacy maybe on Steam Deck! Rebirth in VR is solid!
Recommendation: Nexus - The Jupiter Incident
The atmosphere is soooo good! I absolutely love whät they did with the thruster and engine effects as well as explosions and how the camera behaves. Absolute beuty of an DX8 game. :)
We have featured it before! :)
Ahh, sorry , just found your channel. Should have checked before :)
@@SciFiFactory na we really like suggestions!
@@LTGamingTH-cam Actually, could you tell me which video? Because the TH-cam search didn't turn anything up...
I was seriously like what is that game in the beginning! Then you covered it haha. Im really curious to try it out :)
It has been really enjoyable since I picked it up :)
I *love* Pulsar. My group is spending all our time in Helldivers right now, but I am desperate to get them back into off-brand Star Trek.
There are so many excellent space games out there that folks are just unaware of! These were some great space titles- super thrilled to see X3: Farnham's Legacy up there! I absolutely adore X3: Albion Prelude (likely my favorite of the series).
Some titles I'd recommend:
- Evochron Mercenary (space sim- very similar to Elite / #StarCitizen
- Chaos Galaxy (guilty-pleasure space/anime-ish wargame that's just a gem)
- Distant Worlds: Universe (grand strategy / 4x - perhaps my favorite game of all time)
- Helium Rain (space sim- similar again to Elite / Star Citizen but more artistic)
Thanks again for sharing!
Great comment. Helium Rain and Evochron featured in the last video! Helium Rain is one of my favorite games actually :)
Best channel
🚀🚀🚀
Empyrion: Galactic Survival seems to be relatively unknown. A great game made even better by community content.
We featured it also!
Once Starship Simulator releases in Early Access next year I think it will take over the Pulsar crowd due to the similarties.
Can't wait! 🚀
I have a hard time finding games set between 1500 and 1800 with muskets, world exportation and revolutions. It would be quite an exciting era to find good hidden games in
Pike and Shot comes to mind!
@@LTGamingTH-cam Oh yes, I love that game. It's just hard to find many games set in those time periods, not many lists online
Pulsar reminds me of Staship Horizon.
Perfect.
ascendancy, its ancient but still holds up
Ohh i played that so much on my 386 : ) - Art and music
I will pray to the development gods that Starbase gets back on track. So much potential and already spent a lot of hours enjoying the game.
🚀 yeah I'm jumping back in to see!
You're right; I've never heard of any of these.
Yes, time to pick up and play starbase again, the community is active again with development ongoing. Many player ran companies to join. New test universe due any time now to see the work they have been doing. Biohazard are the pirates to join :D
Feel like it's time to get back into it 🚀
I always hope that ORB/Offworld Resource Base will show up on these, and I'm always disappointed. It probably wasn't earth-shaking, but it always held up well to me and did some really interesting stuff, even in the era of the original Homeworld.
Il check it out!
Astrox Imperium - is the game abandoned? It’s still in EA but there is no more update for nearly half a year since Dec 2023.
I'm playing Delta V every now and then. It's nicely slow, noo pew pew pew in space, just some mining and discover mysteries in th3 rings of Saturn. Sometimes even funny eastereggs 😂 Also I highly recommend the X3 games. Not only Farnhams Legacy but also the other three X3 games, maybe you don't need to play X3 Reunion, the first of 4 games.
Delta V gang reporting in
An indie space RPG, called Stellar Tactics, that is much better than Starfield, in my opinion, Is a party-based isometric RPG with land missions and space missions - but very few loading screens!
I saw that one awhile back! Must check it out 🚀
Starbase was one of my favorite games but everyone quit it :(
I added Starbase back on my wishlist. I took it off years ago cause it was declared abandonware
Totally agree! I wanted to advise caution in the video but...if they can get back on track it would be great!
Starsector continues to be goat of this genre
Please bring Starbase back to the channel. Great vid btw
I might be hallucinating but there was a game that came out a while ago where you can build your ship and go to what ever planet you wanted to but it went to a subscription fee. I don’t remember the game.
Astrox is not forgotten.. i still play it.
Forgotten is a mechanism to bring the games to our audience ;)
When are they going to remake freelancer one of the best space games ever .
I never heard of astrox. i see it came out 2019 and its still.... in early access. guess that is kinda the norm now, longer Eas...
my first thought was pulsar. game that came and went in space games to play... i want to play it but last i heard the AI doesnt do well if u play solo. i dont have 3-4 friends lol.
Personally this day and age with games. i feel a game should have 1 of 2 things. A demo. that ofc limits ur progression. but unlimited time...
or some sort of rental- trial period.
Elite dangerous, x4 foundations just to name a few took me good 10+hours to get just the raw basics to get going. took me good 20-30 hours game time before i finally could traverse the universe somewhat competantly in elite dangerous..... almost gone are the days of the 2-4 hour games u load up day 1 and beat in 4 or less hours and never play again. these open world games need to make it cheaper for the new players to get into them. it really help them stand out atm too.
flip side. 7 days to die is coming out of EA? can it be? finally....lol
It also a solo dev project so he committed to improving it for a long time. Its defo worth checking out at its current price for sure!
Wasn't "Farnhams Legend" a mod that was officially endorsed by Egosoft?
I think that's correct!
kinda sad you didnt use any of your own footage for the starbase bit...or am i just missing it?
I love Children of a Dead Earth, but it recently stopped working for me and its taking some effort to get working again
oh dear! Glad you got it fixed!
DetlaV is lovely !
Intriguing. Just more of a turn based guy myself. Good video though!
Yeah no worries! lots on the way for you :)
i talked alot to the devolper of the game that u are showing in this video, you know that game is made by only 1 person?
Yes Astrox Imperium? Jace Masula I think!
Shit I have about 250 games on steam almost all are space, strategy building sim games
Infinity battlescape?
Has featured in the series!
I was thinking some older games like Universal Combat or that new game Between the Stars.
Oh nice we covered Between the Stars early on in the channel, was good to see it finished!
The problem with Astrox is the market interface is nowhere near as good or helpful as Eve's. It makes it almost unplayable, frankly. Considering how much else is directly ripped from Eve, not having a good market seems more like a choice than an oversight.
No starsector?
Included on the last list. This is a series!
Starbase should have been great. I've played it at the very beginning but I think the community was not that great and the devs did not duly delivered.
They have announced its being actively developed again. But with trust broken we will have to see!
Delta V is punishing crap
Go play Ubisoft crap if you want hand holding.
