I got to say coming from the very first Real Flight in 1997 and the cost of it now there really isn't any excuse for the crappy graphics. Every version has pretty much been the same simulator with added planes. Great vid though. Thanks.
FMS still works on Windows 10 (as of July 2023) and it still is free. Kinda basic and you cannot change the wind conditions but it teaches the basics. FSONE is free now as well but it took me a while to get my old 90s transmitter to work. It is great if you are not looking to fly many basic planes. I was only happy with a few of the offered aircraft but it might work for those who already have great piloting skills. Clearview is $40, a trial version can be downloaded before you buy it. It works on my basic computer, offers plenty of planes, helis and landscapes, the wind conditions can be adjusted, and the physics and graphics are good enough. It will work for me for a long time to come. Maybe one day I will own a computer that can run Aerofly. Only if the flight physics are better though as I don't care about the background. It is all a blur when you are flying a model anyway, even in real life.
@@calebrosenhauch4296 - It depends a lot on the airplane. Some are ridiculously unrealistic and I removed them. Others feel ok. You can get many additional planes for free and if they fly to my liking, I keep them. Additionally, you can modify individual planes and their behavior and sort them into your preferred categories. I would love to try a higher end sim one day to compare. Trial versions are rarely available though (which was another benefit of Clearview for me) and I wont buy software I cannot try out first.
Ì am sorry to see you did not include Phoenix. Although after the udpates the models do not fly very well and their physical settings have to adjusted. Once they are adjusted to real life VG's and steering surfaces deflection angles, it is an awesome simulator. A ppm signal from the TX is needed, usually provided by the trainer port. Very cheap and easy to add the needed hardware to fly with you own TX... AD.... it is FREE as well.
Hi dear friend, how are you? I installed the simulator you recommended. Can you please recommend me a USB controller? that fits the software?? So that I will be able to fly drones with him in the simulator?
i wish realflight wasnt so overpriced, tbh the whole market for rc flight sims sucks, very low standards (especially for 3d fields) and very high prices
FMS is free but very basic. Helped me a lot though. FSONE is now also free. Clearview is $40 and is keeping me very busy and happy (but maybe I have low standards regarding the graphics).
Which rc sim transmitter will work with this free software? #1. SM2008 6/8CH ALL-IN-ONE RC Simulator Support FMS+G2+XTR RealFlight G3-G9 PhoenixRC Simulator for RC Racing Drone or #2. Flysky SM001 6/8CH RC Simulator Support FMS G3/G3.5/G4/G5/G6/G7 5.0 XTR VRC for Helicopters Fixed Wing Gliders 3D Aerobatics Traversers - Black 8 Channels
I use my tx16s mk2 from radiomaster for liftoff fpv sim, can i use it as a joystick in all of these? I heard the older realflight versions required their own controller
I have flown only the Aeroscout for real but even the most basic sim helped me to learn to react better. I started with FMS. Free, works on basic computer. Good enough. Currently upgraded to Clearview. $40, also works with my old computer, and more options.
@@terjeoseberg990 I don't have this simulator yet but I know what he's talking about. I upgraded to a 3070 a year ago and I can't run some of my old call of duty games like MW2. I'm sure this would work with a 1,000 series graphics card. .it's not like it won't work,. You just have to disable some stuff on your card and it will work. Yet I have no clue how to do it lol

True
Yep.

Clear view is very unrealistic

Hi! Frankly speaking, I started with FMS on pc when I bought E-Sky cheap tx sim for pc about 10 buck. That's all to it. It's free and really love it.
FMS is still free and it still works with Win10 (in July 2023). It helped a lot.
I install this free simulator but it had too many lines on screen so bought Real flight simulator.
This is a good RC model plane software sim introduction video.
In my opinion VR is essentiall to rc sims. You need the depth perception to really learn RC flying.
Thanks for the vid - nice comparison.
Would be nice if you included timecodes in the description, as it's a little hard to follow which sim you're on
Hi! Which controller did you use for each simulator?

If you want to be an instructor you need to tell people how to hook up their transmitters. That's the first big hurdle.
phoenix rc imo is still the better of the sims out there!

Thanx. I can t find any possibilities to zoom on the plane, as in Real Flight. It s a big deal when u start to learn 3D. Any advices ?
i wish realflight wasnt so overpriced, tbh the whole market for rc flight sims sucks, very low standards (especially for 3d fields) and very high prices
ugh nvm aerofly is the same
its a tiny market so it's unavoidable really

Accu Rc for helis is top notch and affordable.

hi. which simulator is recommended if I want to import my own 3d model and try to test that model and do flying
Forgot to do aerofly? That's the one I was most curious about lol.
what cable do you use for aerofly rc 7
I won't buy software if I cannot get a trial version to run first.
13:19 oh, that hurts just watching it.
Do you prefer realflight or aeroflight more?
Aerofly RC looks better but I feel that realflight has more options when editing planes
I use my tx16s mk2 from radiomaster for liftoff fpv sim, can i use it as a joystick in all of these? I heard the older realflight versions required their own controller
You can, if you use very old version of real flight yes, you'll need their controller, but new versions work with any usb radio.
@@flysimulation thank you!
works fine in Picasim
RealFlight is combatible with other TX? Except spectrum? Thanks
Yes, I use it with a taranis X9d with a dongle and work perfectly
Which one do you think is closer to real rc planes physics and reactions?
this is what i wanna know
I have flown only the Aeroscout for real but even the most basic sim helped me to learn to react better. I started with FMS. Free, works on basic computer. Good enough. Currently upgraded to Clearview. $40, also works with my old computer, and more options.
how can u get aerofly 7???
This program supports windows 7 or no?. If someone can help?
Phœnix RC is good
What about Aerofly RC?
Thnks
Cool video, you have to subscribe right away
yea if you have a nice graphics card RF9 will not work. It is a DX9 game and my amd video card don't work.
Why wouldn’t a nice graphics card not support DX9?

laways loved aerofly, not big fan of realflight however, never liked it.
