Read the Upanishads and Advaita Vedanta Books and compare it with your religion and you will realise sikhi is not saying anything new. All sikh beliefs about god were already there in Hinduism. The only major differences is just sikhism has removed some concepts from Hinduism (in theory at least) such as caste yoga, Celibacy, idol worship , worshipping various Devi's etc Sikhi is basically Hinduism on a diet . A reduced simplified version. No offense.
Gurbani does refer to the god(waheguru) as non dualistic - advaita but there is a fundamental difference 1) Sikhs don't believe in vedanta( liberation through knowledge) 2) Upanishads talkes about Brahaman(oneness or pantheism) which vast majority of contemprary hindus dont believe in, they on other hand do prema bhagti of idols, which is itself contradictory if the universe is one, they worship human gods to seek favors and maintain cosmic order. In the end you yourself said Sikhi doesn't have tapered believes such as caste, Celibacy, idol worship , worshipping various Devi's etc , so probably you should get the books on Sikhi she mentioned above and start walking on the path of guru Nanak.
@@beastzap9477 what you have said isn't contrary to what I said. (Apart from possibly Advaita)It's just explaining it from your perspective. Also the beliefs of "contemporary Hindus" is irrelevant. I was talking about the scriptures not the beliefs of everyday individuals. 99% of the knowledge contained in Sikhi comes from Vedic Concepts and Scriptures. That's my point. It's not a criticism just an observation. As for me becoming a Sikh I would be open to it. I just am unsure about wanting to keep Kesh, beyond that I don't have any major issue with sikh religion.
Guru Nanak Chamatkar.. by Bhai veer Singh Ji. I simply am short of words to describe this book 📖
