    I have just started getting into 3d printing and have been looking at different channels and have found a few interesting ones.
    One of my favorite channels and one i recommend to anyone getting into time lapses is a small channel called "Black cat 3d" they are a very new channel and have just started making time lapses of all the different things they make. The channel is super nice when responding to commens and i feel they should have more subscribers and support.

    ok that skull container is actually amazing, hot damn.
    It's also nice to see some proper competition to the CR6 SE from Creality - it launched just about 2-2.5 years ago offering similar features and insanely high reliability/performance for about 350, but with Elegoo knocking the price down to about 3/5ths and only losing a few features (like the super rigid dual Z-axis setup), this thing seems like a killer deal and I can't wait to see Creality's response.
    The CR6 SE was already a Prusa killer, and now with the Neptune being a Creality killer, who knows what's next! Things just keep getting better for the consumer :)

    • @WildRoseBuilds
      @WildRoseBuilds  ปีที่แล้ว

      BambuLab seems to be disrupting all of this as well. I think the ender 3 s1 was crealitys response to better machines. The pro version of the Neptune 3 has dual z lead screws and mesh bed leveling putting it’s feature list on par with the s1. Excited to see this space evolve! Thanks for watching :)

    • @StormBurnX
      @StormBurnX ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WildRoseBuilds And thanks to you for sharing! The Neptune Pro definitely is what I'd call a disruptive printer (BambuLab's Carbon X1 is over 6x the cost currently)
      I know Anycubic has some FDM units as well so I'd like to get a few of those next year and do a big comparison, but for now, Bambu is simply too far out of the budget even for an average 3D printing enthusiast, let alone a beginner, to consider them anything more than a cute idea

    • @WildRoseBuilds
      @WildRoseBuilds  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StormBurnX the recently announced bambulab p1p is 600 I believe! Cheaper than an mk3s kit. But I agree anything over $500 is mid range budget. The anycubic kobra series is comparable but their use of strain gauges for z end stop and mesh leveling is unreliable unfortunately.

    • @StormBurnX
      @StormBurnX ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WildRoseBuilds That's sad to hear about the unreliable strain gauges; that's honestly my favorite part about Creality's CR6. I'm not fond of the probe ABLs and the inductive ones on my older Prusa seem to throw a fit whenever I change the bed material or thickness, I gave up troubleshooting it a long time ago and donated it to a friend. Hadn't heard about the P1P, it looks interesting! Definitely going to be keeping an eye on BambuLab this upcoming year.

    You can clearly see at 0:46 that this printer is the Neptune 3 PRO not the 3. Y u lie bro. In fact it seems all prints were done on the pro.

    I like your honest moment there. Under stipulation for receiving sponsorship in some form, forced to show a commercial for elegoo, and receipt their monolog, at the moment you said how great the quality was, one of the worst overhangs is scrolling upward on the video.

    • @WildRoseBuilds
      @WildRoseBuilds  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That overhang well exceeds 45 degrees. Safe to say I chose the wrong clip to show off print quality but The rest of the video speaks to the quality of prints. Thanks for watching!

    Elegoo sucks when things go wrong. My Neptune was a POS from day one. They sent replacement parts but there where soo many things wrong and when I found the last one ( bed massive warped) they said they dont have beds for that anymore so buy a new printer.
