That's great, good for her for being such a great example not only to her students but to others..she is leading by example which is what we all need to do..be the change you want to see in the world 😊
Oh wow. Good on the young lady who took up the challenge too. She’s setting an amazing example for her classmates. A great message in our consumer based society.
That’s awesome. Why not! We spend so much money on clothes and never wearing it. We must be that change so others will too.. Totally agree with her on not allowing our clothes to define who we are...
This is such a nice message especially for young girls out there with all the popularity contest and who wore what first, but in reality, I don’t think I could keep up with washing this everyday after a long day at work.
Just read her story. I admire this lady. Some great lessons in her efforts that can affect more than just the way we dress. I love supporting thrift and second hand stores. They’re the way to go. Seems like a sweet person
That’s a great message ☺️ having a flexible wardrobe is super important. I just hope she’s actually telling her students why she does it rather than waiting for it to click in their head haha
About 30 years ago I had very little clothes I had two sick children and a husband that worked hard I had two pairs of pants and two shirts one pair of shoes two pairs of underwear And1 bra. I was very embarrassed to go to work people would make comments at me period and the vice principal and asked me why I had no dress your clothes. I guess I was in shock I told her I'm broke they work clean and that's all I had. She told me to stiffen up a little bit and buy some clothes I went into the bathroom and I cried. Now I'm retired my husband and I made it through the rough times I've got two closets. I had to leave work in 2014 I am now 64 those days are long gone and I'm retired I was sick with multiple sclerosis I basically staying flannel pants and t-shirts and Momo's. I am bedridden so really doesn't really matter about clothes
The message she's trying to convey is about sustainability, which not only applies to clothing but other things as well..I wear jeans mostly(crop jeans in summer) and I have 6 tops that I wear and rotate them..the thing is I accessorize my outfits with different scarves,ect..when I had to move recently(my grandma had to go into a nursing home) I downsized my clothes and other things quite a bit..I applaud this woman who leads by example 😊
RoyalOutcast Bottom line: Practicing sustainability instead of materialism will help boost your bottom line and lift your spirits. If you don't save and invest, your life will never grow more than whatever you have now. You will never be able to travel and explore someplace new. And since travel is the best school, you'll never learn anything new.
The point is to help people who HAVE to wear clothes everyday to get through bullying, and even if they just wanted too just let them live their life. So stop being racist and get a life.

I wonder if it was washed by hand or machine. If by machine, it seems like a waste of energy and water, sort of counter.
Saw this story on Snap as a clickbait like she was poor or it was an accident. Good message.
Tonki honestly
Whos here from Snapchat?

@@Raprankster why is this so true 😂
Bruh it said she directed her students to her Instagram 🤣 gotta get that page some traffic, build up that clout

Nothing wrong with having a uniform :)
It’s wrong if you force everybody to wear the same thing like a military
@@vanlala3674 Key word "force." No one is being forced in this teacher's experiment, she CHOSE to wear the same thing.
Yes to slow fashion!! This is awesome!!

I wouldn’t notice if one of coworkers did this. I don’t pay attention to them at all.
Wool& is doing this. They offer a free wool dress or credit in their store. I'm going for it once my dress style is restocked in October.
Good for her! What a great message!

Grown woman: I was my dress.

This reminds me of when Doug Heffernan bought Carrie the hemp dress because he stopped eating meat
God bless them 🙏
Snapchat was taking to long.
Yes and now...how much money she spend in washing machine...dryier machine or even water to wash it every day?
Meanwhile If I wear my underwear for more than 2 months I send another message. Thats not fair.
Good !!
Girls vs boys memes be like: 😶

Soooo what’s the message?
Thinks about the thousands of dollars people waste on clothes that they may only wear once or twice.

Adrian Hunte okay thank you. They mentioned why only once in the vid and then they changed the subject to something else so I never really ‘got it’ 😅
It has nothing to do with ecology since she has to wash it every day. To this 50 cents a day, laundry costs must also be added.

C Mac white people just like to call things racist whenever you say the word white even if it actually isn’t 😂😂😂 they think white is a bad word
