"Not all kids learn by just writing on a whiteboard." That is SO, SO TRUE! I would always get lost when trying to learn off notes on a whiteboard. I always learned so much easier and so much faster when I was showed the steps, lessons in action. Everyone has their own way of learning.

The bigger picture for me is that Ms. Brooks actually knows how to teach. Finding a way for students to engage in learn by being active and having fun is by far better than a white board. I wish schools can adjust to student learning capability. Since I struggle by watching and listen. I’m a hands on learner and I learn more getting involved. Overall, if my professor was Ms. Brooks, I’ll definitely pass her class with her teaching style.

Dwarfism is a condition that affects many people, and no one should be made fun of because of it. It is a real genetic condition that is out of people's control so teasing or bullying someone simply because they were randomly born with dwarfism is unacceptable. Mathematics is unfortunately a difficult subject for many. I've always found maths difficult through school, sometimes people carnt learn from books which is just how I see it and could be wrong, and some teachers may not have the time to tailor their way of education to all their students which I can understand, but some people need extra help with their education and sometimes that takes both the effort of the student and the teacher.

I respond more clearly to an explanation or seeing an example in every class but math. However, I have a hard time focusing when my teacher is just droning on and on! I respond better to fun learning! My teacher doesn’t understand that if I look at the ground while she’s picking who to read means I don’t want to! I actually had a teacher in high school exactly like this and you know what's funny? Most of the goofball children who just misbehaved actually did stop and actually started to learn and enjoy it too. Even I understood the lessons a lot better as someone with SMI. Actually I had a couple of teachers like this, it's the reason I love science so much, shout out to Mr. Celi! And to my other high school teacher who I can't sadly remember at the top of my head probably because he wasn't there long, I hope he is well and happy, I hope you both are!
