I live in Aachen since 1984. The city has changed like other german cities. Some Shops are closed, but we have ne new Aquis Plaza, nice Restaurants, the historical places are as lovely as in the past. And we have some nice new hotels. So Aachen is not ruined. If you plan to come, visit Maastricht in the Netherlands, too. A beautiful small city.
