I have recently got the tecsun equivalent, The thing i dont like, and I'll get used to it are the labels being placed below the knobs so that the knob obscures them. A front leg would also let you tilt it towards the viewpoint.. I compared with the tecsun PL 990 and this has a clearer sound, not sure if it picks up as strong but clarity is everything. Overall quite pleased with it. The meter light seems to be off and on and i'm not sure if there is logic to this like the other panels light or if there's an issue. I'd also like a real power off switch as the power button just switches to standby mode. It seems to be a thing with a lot of this modern stuff for various brands
Refreshing to see an outdoor setting review. 🙌 I hear it's not really worth the external antennes noting that 1 narrow mode is to be kept on and the internal antenne is all you need. It simply works!
I would like to add a desktop radio to my collection and the Eton elite 750 is one I fancy. I have the Eton elite Field which is a very good performer on MW and SW. Pity Amazon do not double box as the last three radios boxes have taken a lot on the way down south to me.
Try hitting the reset button and see if that helps check all the connections in there though where the batteries go make sure they're making connection

I agree it does work the best with the internal antenna I have a Tecun PL 600 that is just awful when you put an external antenna on it

I think you have to / or can request double boxing.

I have the grundig 750 version looks the same, mine quit running off batteries only, any ideas why that could be?
