I used to explore junkyards when I was little. I’d imagine what the car looked like when it was new, who owned it, and what their lives must have been like. Every single car has a story to tell.
Uncle had a shop and he wood have a constant rotation of cars trucks. He had a 59 toyopet that was pristine one weekend the car was trashed. Bummer

I could spend an entire day back there in that back lot drooling and aching over all of the gems back there. Whew. We need more Euroasian Bob content!
When I was a kid there was the most amazing junkyard near my house. The front of the yard had cars from the 30’s and the further you went in the newer they got. Off the top of my head some of my favorites a grouping of 1950’s ambulances, a Suzuki Water Buffalo, an early barracuda painted with “Mellow Yellow” livery, a few Triumph TR6 and and several Spitfires, multiple MG Midgets, an early 50’s olds with a straight eight, a hurst olds, a few regal t type turbos not GNs VW buses and bugs a few type 3’s a fiat x19 and that hideous Volvo 2 door Bertone. Tons more but you get the idea. The owner was a very grouchy old man who really didn’t let many people roam around alone but my mother was friends with his and after months of trying to get in and not getting anything but cursed out, literally his mom called him one day and got me permission. If I could go every day I would have but I didn’t want to press my luck. Most the cars seem to still be there, at least those by the road, but I haven’t seen it open.
I just finished watching a video where Wizard bought the building next door for "storage". Now it makes sense.
There is already a tenant in the new building.

@Jon Doe - I live here. North Broadway in Wichita is an industrial area with very high crime rates. Most of the North Central part of Wichita is like that. Not sure if those investments in the property would pay off because of the area. The fence is a good idea, but paving it would be expensive. Many folks here avoid this side of town.

I bought one of those V70R’s brand new back in 2005. What a great car! I can’t wait to see more on that one! He’s right, manuals are super rare. Couldn’t find one and had to get mine one overseas delivery which was a blast.

IMO "Volvo's known for their safety" was/is purely a marketing ply with no basis in truth. I was injured in 1995 in a brand new 1994 Volvo 960 (its was leased for 36 mo.) through Volvo. The car was rear ended when I was stopped making a left turn at noon by a person doing about 50mph. Yes, my brake lights and turn signal were working. the seat back broke, laying me flat in the back seat and when the car came to a stop I was propelled forward, restrained by my seatbelt, I herniated 4 discs in my neck and 3 in my lower back. After years of pain and therapy I had three major surgeries (on on my neck and 2 on my lower back). All I wanted was for Volvo to let me out of the remainder of the 33 months of my lease and they said "sure, take the monthly payment and multiply it time the number of payments left (33 months) and we'll let you out of the car. When the Volvo engineer came to look at the mangled seat, they said, "good luck, there are no seat crash test standards in the United States and only Mercedes does that type of work on autobahn accident" and so Volvo would not help me out and dared me to sue them. So, I lost out. Also, I had the car (that was crushed to the back seat) repaired by the local Volvo dealership. When the lease came due, I had never heard from Volvo, so I went to the Volvo dealership, got a condition and mileage receipt and handed the keys to the dealer. Three months after the lease was due to be turned in I received a call from Volvo asking to see the car so the leased could be view. I told them to return my security deposit and the car was at the dealership[ for 3 months so good luck. So, I will anybody well with owning or leasing a Volvo. This is my experience, I'm disabled as a result of the accident. So, I would suggest looking at crash test data published by reliable sources like the IIHS and the NHTSA before making a purchase and don't just get drawn into the "Volvo" hype.

I owned an 05 v70R manual was a really nice car, quick and very comfortable. Unfortunately they have horrific turning radius, need a city block to pull a u turn.
