My Deep charge marine battery died over the winter and I'm looking to get myself a lithium battery. The light weight will definitely be a real game changer. I can't find this exact battery your talking about around here, but I'm definitely making the switch to a lithium battery. Great job describing this battery!
Thanks, Henri. I left a link in the description but since you’re in Canada it may be different and you may not be able to find it on the .ca version. Definitely go lithium, though. 👍
The minis are great. I've got the Li-Time minis for my 36v trolling motor in my center console. The 3 take up the same space as my 2 older lead acid. I'm sure the LiPULS are just as good. Good review.
Thanks, Gary. The smaller size is a huge difference, I agree. I might get another one so that I always have 200Ah total on the kayak and both batteries would be safe from rolling around.
Nice! I’m glad you figured out how great they are as well. I’m thinking about getting one more mini and then I could always have 200Ah total on the kayak without sacrificing any deck room.
It’s so nice. The only downside with my Catch PWR is that front compartment is kind of BUILT for a full size battery so I have to tighten the strap down harder. lol.
Sure does. I was thinking about throwing this in the back on super long days in case the main one runs out of juice and I need to get back to the launch. I could run full tilt almost all day if I had to. Heck, if I had two of these it would be perfect.
I personally have never heard of that. Everyone I know uses Lithium. On Facebook we have a group called Kayak Fishing Dads (feel free to join) and out of the 15-20k guys on there I’ve never heard of that either. I always store mine in the basement away from high temperatures.
Oh. The batteries, on the pamphlets, recommend to charge them every three months or so. So I’ll purposely drain it once during the winter since I don’t use mine kayak fishing at that time.
On a side note: The Red Wings had the two craziest comeback wins of ALL TIME in back-to-back days…but Philly lost and we still missed the playoffs. If you didn’t hear about those, and given the importance of them being must wins, you should check them out. Incredible. Scoring with 3 seconds left last night in a must win??? Crazy. Too bad

Thats actually really awesome! Be great for the yaks an bass raiders! Also we need to talk about that shirt!! Haha, love it
I love that hoodie. It’s from my local Bait & Tackle shop @SportsmensDirect
Dude….u had me once I saw mini me 😆 Agree with purchasing stuff on Amazon! Nice review. I’ll check out the link 👊
Wait til you see my review next week of sharks with fricken laser beams 🦈 ⚡️
Hahaha….love me some Austin Powers!!
Looks like a nice little unit. Perfect back up if need be or extra power source
Yes I agree
Fantastic overview and I had no idea about the mini versions. Thanks for the pros and cons as well.
They’re awesome, Sean. If you ever add power to the Pelican I highly recommend these small batteries.

I have the power queen 100ah and the mini 100ah batteries are legit.
My plan is to keep it in the blackpac to power my haswing brushless.

Wish that was a 24v lol. That's a very nice battery when they come that small and powerful 🙂.
Thanks, man. Agreed on the 24v.
That's a pretty sweet battery!! Pretty ideal for being compact!

Super helpful and very informative, can’t wait for these batteries to continue to get smaller and smaller.
You and me both! I want to get 200Ah on the kayak.
I can never bring my crate when I use a regular size battery on my yak. This mini has some serious benefits.

Really liking my LiTime 100ah so far!
Yeah, they’re great 👍
Heard that there are issues with lithium batteries catching on fire, when in storage.
Is this true???
Anyone….

Tim the Toolman Tayor approves.

@@TheMichiganFisherman there wasn’t a team I wanted to play in round one more than the wings. 😛
Still, the progress is there.
