    VoicePlay is the best acapella group to watch Halloween videos. They have more than I think other such groups, and they tend to be more theatrical and really get into the "spirit" of it!

      Yeah that's what I loved about this video!

      Well Geoff used to sing and dance at the Universal Studios Beetlejuice show so I think spooky is in his blood now

    Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride. I've loved this version since I first heard it. Geoff makes a perfect Ghost Host lol

      He does indeed! Especially with his creepy laugh

    I saw in this one that i have something in common with Geoff - being able to move his eyes independently. Those spooky eyes. LOL I've never been to Disneyland, haven't seen a lot of the movies they sing from either, but that doesn't spoil the enjoyement of what they do. So clever.

      Hi Christine, you don't have to have experienced the Haunted Mansion ride in order to enjoy an a cappella cover like this! The group altogether did a great job with recreating those singing heads.

      @@JeffreyHackReacts Geoff sings a solo of The Headless Horseman with 3 singing heads. He is the master of whatever he does. All his solo's are arranged & produced by him. I believe his wife Kathy is his production manager.

    Yup, that was Geoff. Working in the amusement parks in Florida has its perks. I have been watching Layne and Tony's videos that they put out of their PattyCake Productions studios. So much fun.

      I didn't know he worked at an amusement park! Totally makes sense though 👌

      The original members are all from the Orlando area and had/have a relationship with Disney and/or performed on cruise ships.

    Thank you again for another great reaction. This is another fine example why Voice Play is known as The Theater Kids. Nobody does theatrical acapella better than Voice Play. Other acapella groups have tried to follow suit but can't compare to Voice Play.

    • @JeffreyHackReacts

      Haha right?! That's exactly why they're my favorite a cappella group! Glad you enjoyed the video!

    Thanks for your reaction and the analysis. This song begins my VoicePlay Halloween playlist which also includes; Kidnap the Sandy Claws, What’s This, This is Halloween, Oogie Boogie Song, and Friends on the Other Side (their newest). Plus Geoff has 2 on his channel: Headless Horseman, and Monster Mash (his newest). All great covers

      Don't forget Layne and Tony own PattyCake Produtions and they do a lot of great videos as well. Bump In the Night is awesome. Can you guess who Layne plays without looking at the credits? LOL

    I love your reactions & commentaries . Seriously you say, " one of the most engaging & innovating acapella groups "? I beg to differ with you but they are the most engaging & innovating of all acapella groups.

    • @JeffreyHackReacts
      @JeffreyHackReacts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha, in my opinion they're one of my favorite because of their musical theatre vibes and innovation in that genre. I'm glad you've been enjoying my reactions 😁

    Awesome reaction and commentary Jeff, as always. Not being from America I had no idea that this song was from a ride from Disneyland when I first heard it. It is really well done!! And you should also checkout the live version VoicePlay have of this song - amazing.
    I would highly, highly recommend reacting to Geoff's Monster Mash. It is so fun and catchy, and the video, costuming, make-up, choreography (yes, I said choreography!) - everything is so well done. It is already over 500k views!! It kinda beats out Misty Mountains Cold for my favourite Geoff Castellucci song - possibly a controversial opinion? You should let me know when you've watched it what your thoughts are on that, lol.
    Have a great day!

    What tombstones are you talking about? The busts are siting on their plinths, is that what you are calling tombstones.

    • @JeffreyHackReacts
      @JeffreyHackReacts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes 😅 I got my terms wrong. The busts are what I was referring to.

      @@JeffreyHackReacts No worries. Since I am an Anthropologist (Archaeologist), as part of my studies I documented several cemeteries and became well versed in cemeteries, burial customs, etc. Also, I first encountered the Singing Busts in 1973 when I first visited Disney World, the Haunted Mansion was and still is my favorite ride. I rode that ride many time while I was there. Also, not that it has anything to do with plinths, but I have been a musician for sixty years and am still at it.

    • @JeffreyHackReacts
      @JeffreyHackReacts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wow! You're a character of all traits! That's fascinating how you're an Anthropologist. The Haunted Mansion is also one of my favorite rides at Disneyland. So much history about that ride too.
