i have no idea why the idea of harold bishop jamming to a remix of his wife's death is so absurdly funny to me but it is & i always end up coming back to this video every now & then to laugh like an idiot
This is your greatest masterpiece. I love the sons reaction when he hears the words "coffee....and croissants". He's like yeah, dope, need to sample that
@sanjuro4 Ian Smith prides himself on his high head to mouth size ratio. He is renowned for it. Arguably it's what landed him the role of Harold in the first place. That and his ability to emit a piercing ultrasonic scream when threatened by wildfowl.
Back in the day we (me and my mates) used to refer to Madge as Vag, This just made it seem so dark. I used to watch Neighbours as a kid and adolescent, by the time this scene happened I was working and was never home in time to watch it. Ah, watching Neighbours and Home and Away were happier times - wish I could go back to them knowing what I know now! I'm sure I'm not the only one!
I dunno if Swede himself ever reads these comments, but I’ve been watching this video for years every time I’m fucking battered. Had it on in kitchens, woodlands and offices. Never before 2am. Well done my man.
omg, I cried when I originally saw Madge die, and now I feel so bad for enjoying this video! xD I love how some of the tags for this video include 'disturbing' and 'wrong' lol :p
This always makes me think of geogaddi by boards of Canada in the way that some people listen to that album and find it really peaceful and relaxing, but I and a lot of people find it really creepy and unsettling I see so many comments of people saying about how funny this is and how much it made them laugh and others of people finding it genuinely moving or disturbing and an amazing piece of audiovisual work, and just like that album I don't know what the intention of tone was behind it, part of what makes me love this so much and I'm definitely in the latter group, I feel like this video has a very unique feeling
This is now part of my TH-cam mix so it pops up a few times a day while I'm working. Always weird to suddenly hear Madge's ragged breathing through my headphones
this is hands down the most disturbing thing i have ever heard in my life - I first heard this at age 16 on tape by some friends of friends of friends of this guy and it has stuck with me all my life as the benchmark most accurate depiction of a psychopath ever. Unleash the dark side again swede, take us to the next level
Whither U realise it or not U are an Artist working at the cutting edge of a new mixed media Art Form - The biscuits brought me & I can see the developing talent / technique from the dates on your videos. Awesome!
mate your telling me your unemployed and your whacking tracks together like this?? mate your a freakin GENIUS! you should be like a millionaire or summet lol
When I saw '14 years ago', I was expecting to read 1999 or 2000 or something. I know TH-cam wasn't around then but you know what I mean. 2008. Fourteen years. Jesus Christ, it goes too fast sometimes.
i have no idea why the idea of harold bishop jamming to a remix of his wife's death is so absurdly funny to me but it is & i always end up coming back to this video every now & then to laugh like an idiot
YES.
+Hannah Taylor You, are not wrong.
This is so true. Back again!
Ditto 😂
Reminder that I'm still coming back. Are you?
Just wow... I have been foraging in the lower recesses of TH-cam for like almost two decades to find genius video art like this. Unbelievable.
truly unbelievable yes. All from VHS videos as well. Swede is our hero
I trust that the Neighbours team have been in touch with Swede to get the rights to play this over the credits of the last episode?
This is your greatest masterpiece. I love the sons reaction when he hears the words "coffee....and croissants". He's like yeah, dope, need to sample that
I found it on an old vhs tape. cheers
I've got something for you to hear * your wife dying moments over and over again* he just smiles bopping his head 🤣
He's thinking about all pounds he's gonna rake in with that life insurance policy.
@@blakejames9743 🙈🤣
I still love it, please never delete your videos.
@sanjuro4 Ian Smith prides himself on his high head to mouth size ratio. He is renowned for it. Arguably it's what landed him the role of Harold in the first place. That and his ability to emit a piercing ultrasonic scream when threatened by wildfowl.
As haunting and mesmerising 13 years later as it was at the time this came out. Forever will Coffee and Croissants be burned in to my head.
I'm pretty sure i'm the only person who has watched this from start to finish.
swedemason now there are two. I am feeling something, finally...after a decade.
Now there are three.
4 😂
this has moved my very soul... i could never skip!
I randomly show these videos to my GF. Today, I'm leaving a comment from her account...while she listens, confused as all hell.
I love the thought of being on my death bed and watching this, pissing myself laughing before finally snuffing it in front of my family.
that guy blends in with his couch
Too much Coffee & Croissants ☕️ 🥐
This slays me every time, using Madge’s breathing is so wrong but so right.
She wouldn't have died if she just got in the back of the van and stopped eating the buttery biscuit base for a while!
I must say this is excellent, far more death scenes require a musical mocking of the excessive pathos they attempt to force upon us.
Genius... One thing I don't understand is why they have to go to Paris... Harold owns a fucking coffee shop doesn't he?
Probably the genesis of why he decided to own one.
This never gets old 😂
This is my favourite thing on the interwebs
I always come back to this one, the Swedest of Mason!
I dunno if Swede himself ever reads these comments, but I’ve been watching this video for years every time I’m fucking battered. Had it on in kitchens, woodlands and offices. Never before 2am. Well done my man.
haha about right. Though I often listen in the morning if anyone uses the turn of phrase coffee and croissants
Same!
who would have thought someones dying breaths would make such a great song? they should do this more often.
omg, I cried when I originally saw Madge die, and now I feel so bad for enjoying this video! xD I love how some of the tags for this video include 'disturbing' and 'wrong' lol :p
love the bit where Harold is dancing
You're either mad or a genius. Possibly both. Anyway, this sounded like a Zero 7 track. Chill. Brill.
Every time I have a coffee... or a croissant... I get this tune stuck in my head. And that's a great thing.
The work of a madman.
This always makes me think of geogaddi by boards of Canada in the way that some people listen to that album and find it really peaceful and relaxing, but I and a lot of people find it really creepy and unsettling

100% true story - I spoke to Harold Bishop on the phone in 2002. Best conversation of my life.
Did he go "Madge, Madge, Madge, Madge, Madge.." while wobbling his chins?
Coming back to this banger after 15 years.
I have watched this several times a year over the past 12 years
This is now part of my TH-cam mix so it pops up a few times a day while I'm working. Always weird to suddenly hear Madge's ragged breathing through my headphones
It was the trauma from this incident that caused Harold to turn pixelated and become big Lez.
I CANNOT stop watching this!
The sped up coffee part had me laughing out loud.
this is pure GENIUS.
How poignant; what a good concept as well with the young guy showing off his new track - great.
what a remarkable record
this is hands down the most disturbing thing i have ever heard in my life - I first heard this at age 16 on tape by some friends of friends of friends of this guy and it has stuck with me all my life as the benchmark most accurate depiction of a psychopath ever. Unleash the dark side again swede, take us to the next level
It was originally on tape aye, c2002
Madge is back as a ghost (I shit you not).
it almost sounds like a silent hill track
Beautiful.
Whither U realise it or not U are an Artist working at the cutting edge of a new mixed media Art Form - The biscuits brought me & I can see the developing talent / technique from the dates on your videos. Awesome!
I have no idea how you are out of a job. This stuff is absolutely great.
It's nothing short of comedy Ledge!
Son records husbands last moment with his wife and remixes it for a laugh... that's sick but hilarious
I'm pretty sure this is a new genre you've invented. Its fucking awesome, and really well made. Keep re-watching! 5 stars.
Coffee and croissants gang 2021
Ohhhh, Madge
The guitar bit (which was in Neighbours all the time anyway) reminds me of War by Poets of the Fall from Alan Wake.
It's actually a really chilled tune.... I actually really like it..... Is that wrong? =P
I laughed when she said ' I love yooouu '. The sound of her voice lmao
There's something about this one. My brothers and I say this all the time! Pure genius.
I unironically like this
I have coffee and croissants for breakfast near enough every morning, I can totally relate to these profound lyrics. x)
Haha holy shit, the video of Harold at 3:43 is hilarious.
Looks like all that buttery biscuit base has really aged the bloke from masterchef.
Whenever I have coffee and crosssiants, I always quote it in this exact style each time out loud.
this is tim and eric quality, great job swedemason
Swede keeps the storytelling intact, or adds the right stuff to it. That's what makes this so great.
P.S.: I want a video involving Harold's numerous chin wobbles in slow motion now. Jellybelly wobble bass, wobble bass, wobble bass. x
i just coughed up a lung like i took a mean ass bong hit of kush watchin this. this shit is funny!!!
MC-909 and Korg EM-1, rad!
BASS BASS BUTTERY BASS, THAT BUTTERY CROISSANT BASS
I think he wants some coffee and croissants.
Pure art
Allways draws me bk lol

This is the second funniest video on TH-cam hahahahahahahhaha brilliant...masterpiece
Can't beat a bit of coffee and croissants..
bloody superb
BRILLIANT!!!
AWESOME! BRILLIANT! ORIGINAL!
My sides are in orbit. You are a genius
One of the highest forms of art. I will return to it again and again throughout my lifetime, like I return to a Van Gogh, or a Monet.
mate your telling me your unemployed and your whacking tracks together like this??
mate your a freakin GENIUS!
you should be like a millionaire or summet lol
Brilliant
I like the bit with the coffee but I am not so sure about the croissants
And and a Wualkle!
When I saw '14 years ago', I was expecting to read 1999 or 2000 or something. I know TH-cam wasn't around then but you know what I mean. 2008. Fourteen years. Jesus Christ, it goes too fast sometimes.

masterful, all five minutes of it
incredible
maan this is so fucked up yet funny
Guess she should have put the lotion in the basket after eating the buttery biscuit base!!
At the moment, this is my favourite song.
I've had it in my head for the past 2 days.
I love it.
fables of our age ..
this makes me want to have coffee and croissants for some reason.
WTF? This is weirder than a David Lynch movie! Amazing! I was in tears of laughter!
Did they really hit him that close in the episode? Because, that's a really unflattering camera shot, although probably more powerful.
As conflicted as I felt (Madge's death was Classic Sad) this was so surreal and excellent
Coffee... and Croissants...
LMSO at the two harolds dancing =]
my auntie always said i looked like Todd off neighbours...i checked the mirror auntie...i dont see a c*nt staring back
I think the croissants had a buttery biscuit base
Amazing work, I love SwedeMason
