- How did Americans travel before AMTRAK? I spent 4 HRS in COACH Class on a 100+ Year Railway that began operating in 1905. The Historic Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is a gem that's located in Blue Ridge, Georgia. I've lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 10 years and I recently discovered this this train one week ago. I had to show you the experience!

We moved to Chattanooga during the lockdowns. Found Blue Ridge while driving North Georgia mountains. Have been waiting on them to start rolling again.

Haven't done this ride, but looks you had a fun time. My U.S.A. train ride experiences aside from Amtrak (1989) were the classic Colorado/New Mexico services from Durango to Silverton and from Chama to Antonito. Also did the Georgetown Loop. These I did in 1995. Still have fond memories. Cheers from Michael in Melbourne, Australia.

The Cuban Lady is the best Cuban this side of Havana. May I suggest the pressed Tampa Cubano with a guava soda to wash it down. If you still have room left, get a guava empanada and a Cuban coffee.

Moving to Tennessee from Washington state this summer n been looking around for adventures Tennessee with my lil daughter I’m pumped! This would be a heck of a drive but after the Canadian border reopens try to Agawa Canyon train that runs north out of Sault Ste Marie. Ontario, twin sister city of Salt Ste Marie Michigan. It’s a round trip 228 miles to the Agawa Canyon where it stops for a few hours. Some people picnic or hike. The fall color tour is the most popular but it’s spectacular year round!
Yes that sounds like an amazing trip I hope to get back to Canada 🇨🇦 once everything opens back up. My good friend lives in Vancouver and we take trains a lot

Yo I have ridden on this train soo much and before they stopped doing it I rode up in the cab of the locomotive and the engineer let me blow the horn which was nice
