The argument that subsidy only benefits the rich is faulty. Everyone buys petrol proportionately according to their income. Thus, everyone benefits.
So it makes no sense when they say it only benefits the rich people. The government ought to find other means of taxing the rich.
Nigeria has no social security nets protecting citizens, fuel subsidy appears to be the only benefits to us.
On subsidising neighbouring countries, the argument is also faulty. Smuggling subsidised petrol to neighbouring countries is a criminal activity, the law should take its course

This man Rotus sef, his argument is looking somehow ambiguous. How much do you want Nigeria to sell a litre of petrol in Nigeria. Mr president announced the removal of subsidy in May 29, 2023, which subsidy removal is Rotus is clamouring for? We are buying petrol between 580naira and 980nàira now.

Rufai is so pained in his comments that it's beginning to be sickening. He lost a lot in the last Presidential election. He has become very annoying !!!! Arise TV is beginning to be very unprofessional. Rotus thanks for a solution mentality rather than the complaint mentality of Rufai and Ayo..
