    Mr Emmanuel is sound and knowledgeable on oil sector issues. I feel this is the type that should be drafted into the presidency for advisory services instead of recruiting the sons and daughters of nadeco leaders who are not well informed on political and economic matters.

      Abi, now!!! Talks over the guy,get seem to even get clear questions out and further inserts his own understanding which we care nothing about. It’s as though he’s afraid of what the client might say that may get him in trouble. Mr Kelvin is a national treasure….let’s champion his assertions.

      @@ebibomodi4259 FYI, he can be from Bayelsa and still be Igbo. Igbos are indigenous to all states in the SE and SS even Edo has 2 LGAs made up of Indigenous Igbos, ditto Cross River and Akwa Ibom while Rivers is almost 60% Igbo/Ikwerre. The state lines were drawn by non Easterners who did not understand the ethnic complexities and nuances of the old Eastern and Mid Western Regions, and you also have Igbos indigenous to Benue and Kogi.

  • @ob1o675
    @ob1o675 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    People said Tinubu was smart but I obviously he's not as smart. If he was, the first thing he should have done is completely remove all the veil and secrets around NNPC. But if he does, Nigerians can track their crimes. There's no way Tinubu, a so called accountant cannot know that NNPC as currently set up is Nigerian bottomless hole. Kevin Emmanuel speaks for 25 minutes and he provides insight more than NNPCL ceo and everybody in the company. 😮😮😮. Nigeria is doomed in the hands of these criminals.

    Clearly there's an entrenched interest for the importation of refined products to continue. To enable this, a convoluted web of deceit has been woven around the oil assets of Nigeria. Untangling it sadly means bringing down the state capture infrastructure. Does anyone honestly think that this will happen?

  • @ChimaobiNwagbara

    Very unfortunate with the turn of events in the revenue of Nigeria today; we needed a leader who would stand for lean operations, save massively and fund only essentials, this would have put us on a good standing by now.

    I am just beginning to watch this but I like the way the interviewer redirected Kelvin to his initial question. Kelvin does tend to drift into other issues when asking questions. Even though this may be enlightening he should focus on answering the question first.

    Financial management 101 is that you don't put head to buy what you cannot afford. Nigeria cannot afford petrol subsidy, but wants to subsidise petrol. Common sense is really not common.

    • @MrOsobase
      @MrOsobase 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It's because the government over the years failed to fix our refineries or simply build ones. If we refine our crude, there would be no need to pay subsidies and all these complications

  • @LandPropertyNG
    @LandPropertyNG 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Basic financial management teaches that you shouldn't buy what you can't afford. Nigeria can't afford a petrol subsidy, yet insists on subsidizing petrol. Sometimes, common sense isn't so common.

    How can you conclude that being able to publish 2023 audited account in 2024 and also declare #3.3 Trillion is not a good news because the dividend accrued to the federal government was used to offset debts owed NNPC by federal government? It was a good news to the extent that debts is paid which relief NNPC cash flows as well as reduced federal government overalls liabilities from financing and accounting point of view.

    Kevin should be minister of petroleum, not Tinubu. Also, this is why they are trying to frustrate Dangote because he's going expose all their crimes and corruption. Lastly, this host is worst on Arise, he interrupt to ask him exactly what he is explaining. Dude, don't bring him on if you don't have enough time.

  • @sanchezmaloney4849

    The issue with this guest is that he appears to be more interested in accentuating his knowledge of every subject matter with the use of bamboozling acronyms and terminologies rather than answer the question put to him. He then veers off on a tangent seeming to impress. The audience is completely lost by the time he makes his point. What Nigerians want are simple and coherent explanations from commentators; not verbiage!
