If any of you aren’t seeing the undo send or edit button go to settings and click messages and turn the MMS off. Remember you both must be using IOS 16 :)
The receiver will see the mark 'edited' in their end. I hope Apple will change that the receiver won’t know if it was edited. Why? Because my friend will ask me why I edited the message and I will waste time telling her - "I miss one word".

For this feature to work, your device would need to be running iOS 16 and sent though iMessage. You will not be able to do the same with SMS texting through your carrier. Up to two minutes isn’t long enough Facebook messenger allows unlimited time to unsend a message, you usually want to unsend a message about 20 minutes later after given it some thought 💭 by then your 120 second limit is no good!

Hey there. We’d like to help with this. Are you trying to edit and unsend an iMessage or SMS text? iMessage would be in blue and SMS would be in green. For this feature to work, your device would need to be running iOS 16 and sent though iMessage. You will not be able to do the same with SMS texting through your carrier.
Also, two additional notes:
-If you try to edit or unsend an iMessage and the receiver of that message is running an earlier version of iOS, that message will show as edited rather than deleted.
- You can only edit the message within 15 minutes of sending it or within 2 minutes if tryig to unsend it.

I don’t see it for ios16
We can help with a few key points for editing or unending a message with iOS 16. When trying to unsend a message, you have up to two minutes after initially sending the message to unsend it. Tap and hold the message and select Undo Send.
You will see a confirmation message that the message was unsent.
For editing a message, this can be done five times within 15 minutes of sending your message.
Tap and hold the message the desired message. Choose Edit, make changes and choose the blue check to resend the message.

Up to two minutes isn’t long enough Facebook messenger allows unlimited time to unsend a message, you usually want to unsend a message about 20 minutes later after given it some thought 💭 by then your 120 second limit is no good!
