I have been thinking the same. I have seen a lot of men/husbands on this shows just selfishly thinking of themselves and what is convenient for them only. Like they got married for the wrong reasons, not to have a family. They want a slave, wanted someone to be their hands and feet. I hate to blame society and background, but i can't help but wonder why there ate so many Korean men acting thus this way on this show.
I wish they'd have Sangmin as a regular guest. He's always so mature and good with his questions/advice. Also, bc he has a panic disorder, he is not afraid to tell someone they should talk to a professional. I'm also not biased by how much i like him in knowing brothers :P

Totally agree.. sangmin tried to understand every kind of detail and not be little every problem, he is open minded about mental health problem and tbh not that many people are like that in this kind of industry

After watching many of these shows, I've noticed Korean women will put up with soo much bull$hit just to keep the family together & not divorce... they deserve a medal
That's because korean society looks down to single parents, mothers faces the worse. That's why it become nearly impossible for a korean woman to go for divorce when she give birth and husbands use that situation to become dominant in the house.
Almost all asian nations are like that. Both the spouses try to adjust cause first point divorce need court involvement and it will stretch on for years and you'll loose a lot of money. Second it is so hard to get married again once you are divorced. In India arranged marriages are still the norm. In most of the cases they work out cause parents too try to keep the marriage alive, but in olden days the wives and wives parents had to be submissive because of patriarchy.
sadly it's the same with other asian countriees too, south asian countries like Pakistan and India suffer a lot with problems like such

Hi I know this is an old comment but Korea has very poor social security and treats single mums and their children poorly, it is not easy for a woman to divorce and raise a child there, many women have to leave their children with the husband if they leave them in Korea.
Not everyone is like you.. To take everything at breakupand divorce.. Ppl want their relations work.. If ppl started doing like u said.. No relationship would manage.. Everyone has bad habits with time which they get in youth time.. Btw this games, club, parties are the gifts of youth in the name of freedom. If ppl didn't get chance to change how will ppl manage or change.. Everything has some timing and place where they get affected that how they are ruining good things.. They need realisation which get from this kind of shows or therapists, psychiatrists.. Plz if you ever need to give ppl advice.. Just tell them to go to marriage counseling or psychiatrist.

I'm not as frustrated as I thought I would be, it just helps me confirm that I still don't want to have children ever. The big thing in Korea is that when you arrive at a certain age, it's EXPECTED of you to get married and have a kid within the first year/s of marriage. Just how it is there, but that makes it so many people marry and have kids when in reality they're totally not ready or just don't want to. On top of that, add the taboo that is divorce and you have people forcing themselves to stay together and hate each other more and more when they could have ended things on good terms.
