i agree, its worth more then deep wounds, he needs to drop 2 points from shield spec and pick up BnT, also, drop safeguard, unless you plan to keep charging the other tank on CD. you better off doing blood and thunder 2/2, thunderstruck 2/2 and 3/3 deep wounds. drop shield spec to 1/3, safeguard to 0/2. warriors are the best AoE tank, since they can do so much damage (threat) and AoE stun enemies every shockwave CD. our shield block works best against more then 4-5 targets then other tanks, like BDK and Bear. its why warriors are always fun to have in heroics dungeons, or doing BoT. i personally like gag order since its nice to silence trash to get casters to come to me using heroic throw. so i take that over deep wounds, and i toss that 1 point into shield spec so i can spam heroic strike/cleave more on AoE pulls.
i must be the only tank who swears by piercing howl. I'm always off tanking and being able to kite effectively is so important. 10 rage, 15 yd radius (glyphed), and NO cooldown!
Im mostly 346 geared and heroics are super hard for me. Ive followed guides to optimize my build to the fullest extent and i even have enchants and all kinds of consumables. Warrior needs a buff or nobody will take prot seriously at all. Im already struggling and havent even tried to raid tank. Not gonna be fun getting laughed out of the groups even though im super good at the class and have my keybinds optimized
Idk bro I thought they were pretty easy even in 333, just shockwave rend thunderclap and everything is stuck to you. You take more magic damage than other tanks and might want to let your healer drink more but I can’t think of any boss that’s a struggle if people do mechanics. Maybe Ozruk? But he doesn’t do magic damage you just have to run around a ton and he one shots idiots. In raid I off tank and it’s super fun because warrior is so mobile and flexible.
Every add pack does magic damage. If you're in a pug with low DPS who can't interrupt, good luck because you're now the only person busting ass in the group. Compare that to DK who shrugs off the damage with self heals and antimagic shell. Nobody can say warrior is "just fine" compared to that. And this is coming from a guy who hates blood tanking. It's a shame. They need to halve spell reflection cooldown

I work 2 set so my tank set was 325 ill an it was easy
