A pvp server in latin america, wotlk being permanent without progression, balanced ping for south, central and north america, i play again wow! Enough of this blizzard nonsense!

I hit the 60th first time at classic while playing at fresh anniversary PvE servers. Ever. And I just can't stop digging into quests and lore in the later parts of the game. As Alliance player, I just can't get enough how cool the story line goes one and culminates at raiding stage. The story line can be traced back to Elwynn Forest when you are like lvl 10, some q require player to go back and visit old zones, but with different angle. And I enjoy this so much that I do not even remember when I got so hyped about the gaming process. I just do not understand players, who spring to end game by boosting and super tight lvling process. Travel from 1 to 60 while enjoying lore and what zones have to offer is a huge part, why I am stuck with classic.
They won't. Classic players are anti-monetization, so Blizzard has no incentive to do so. Remember that OSRS has "Bonds", their version of the WoW token. As Classic players, we just pay the sub, so we just get re-releases. Retail players pay for the sub, an expansion every 1-2 years, WoW tokens, and mountains of microtransactions. They get new content. It's unrealistic to ask for new content like retail, but for the price of Classic.
@keelhld94 is it unrealistic? OSRS is bundled with RS3 just like classic is, there are no expansions to buy, just a sub. Content comes out at a slow plod, but the game is so slow that most players always have something to do. I don't know how much money they make off bonds, I would guess considerably less than subs, but maybe I'm wrong.
@@Ahrimas In this day and age I think it's unrealistic, yeah. Not saying I agree with it, but it's just how businesses operate. The subscription is bundled together, true, but retail is where the real money is at. I doubt they'd take the money they've got from retail players and use it to fund and commit to a "Classic +". It's probably going to go back into retail.
One thing to add to the context here for the 2019 classic release was what happened spring of 2020. I think that has to be taken into account when forecasting peak raid activity/participation on the anniversary realms.
The addon is for the less intellectual gifted. The game for most of us has no secrets since we have been playing the game since the first release. Some said they have 11 chars and need it, imagine giving money to finish a slow paced wonder instead of enjoying. Thats why i love HC, no mercy for the dum dums
Why is everyone taking their time levelling? Just get to max fast and enjoy raiding. Basically what you sound like And I'm someone who enjoys levelling the most too
I love the original classic and ESPECIALLY TBC. Made some life long friends there. Started playing during the OG WotLK and loved classic LK too, but didn't get to play as much as I wanted due to irl conflicts and commitments (I wanted to be super sweaty, but only broke half a sweat lol), but this was a great experience overall. I think im done, especially since all my friends stopped, but maybe I'll play again one day as a casual
didnt like tbc after blizz did to after while as a hunter - felt pointless to play with deadeasy mobs - If this is the version blizz relases I wont play - my hunter will found out
I FINALLY started SoD during the holidays and got my first character (troll mage) to 60 while playing with my girl and another buddy. Most fun I’ve had with WoW in a long time, even though the Rune Brokers were out we hunted down/did our parts to get them all. I know a lot of it is me not being burnt out by being stuck in certain phases/levels but I’m just having a blast playing the game. Couldn’t get too many mid game dungeons done since we were all DPS but endgame seems booming. If anyone has a casual weekend raiding guild on Wildgrowth, lemme know! Would love to even get an MC in but my only days off are Saturday/Sunday and most people seem to raid Tuesday Thursday
2:40 what do you mean? Your graphic literally shows the opposite, Cataclysm has the least amount of characters doing end game content compared to previous versions lol.
The only thing that made me go back to anniversary servers is the dual talent spec. ANYTHING they wanna do in vanila and TBC from now on, Dual spec should ALWAYS be a part of it.
The bad thing compared to private servers and actual vanilla is layering. The leveling zones are layered. So the 40 odd people in each zone are 5 to each layer over 8 layers. The zones feel so dead. Why layers apply to the whole world rather than just a couple of busy spots I will never know. Lucky I am playing with friends because the lack of player exposure in the zones is depressing. This is high pop by the way. Private servers with increased spawn rates and the players kept together is so much nicer. Even vanilla where enough players in a zone would crash the servers would be preferable to me. Classic a few years back didn't feel dead when leveling like this. It's like there are way more layers.
@aknaton6349 my mates and I did alliance from 1 to 50 with not many players on our layer. Maybe 1 or 2 in a quest hub and occasionally someone on the road. We never once had to wait for a quest mob. We rarely saw horde either, only 4 times total in our entire time in stv (1 at gorillas, 1 at hemit camp and 2 at booty bay). We rerolled horde, since that's what we prefer and we wanted to do diff classes for TBC arena 3s. We are up to level 20 now and the last 2 nights we quested in the barrens and saw 3 people other than ourselves. This is despite checking barrens in /who and there being 46 people in the barrens on all layers. Why would the barrens (and every other low level zone) not be excluded from the layers? Not even 50 people in the zone and they are spread across 7-8 layers. It's so bad.
@@thome7318 wtf I leveled to 60 and started a new character a few days ago and I saw and see people everywhere, its gone done a bit but often times I cant even quest properly because there are too many people
Sorry but this is why I stopped playing classic again, tried a paladin wanted to heal endgame. I got to 50 with pain cause you are constantly waiting for respawn. Then I tried to get the last levels done with instances also not possible cause you wait over an hour for an zf group cause everyone wants to rush to 60. Tell me pls that iam crying yeah but I'm one guy less keeping it alive. And it's crazy how many ppl are still completely clueless about an 20 year old game and how many are assholes Fläming and ninja looting and shit. And I have to say after 20 years with German servers I just don't like international Englisch servers and it's not too my lack of englisch
Layering is just bad. I dont understand this ''MEGA SERVER'' trend, a server with 7-8k+ online players whiteout layers is more than enough. I think this will be the same like before, they gonna kill pvp servers with monofaction mega servers again. Thats why i left after wotlk classic launch. And ofc the public boting, rmt and boost. Turtle wow is 100% better classic exp than this shitfest.
Seeing old videos of my friends running gdkp raids looks so frustrating and sweaty. Im really glad I can pug and full clear Aq40 and BWL and roll on items I need 3 days after hitting 60 instead of not doing that in SOD.
So glad I went anniversary realms I was so confused as to how it all worked, the community is actually huge and robust right now looking forward to TBC
WillE I would love to hear about how and/or why [or why not] youre playing certain version of WoW right now? Right now I'm playing HC, SoD, and a bit of retail at the moment. I am also trying and failing to get a character up in Cata so I can play some MoP Classic. What about you? Cata raiding? SoD raiding? Addicted to HC? What's up with you?
part of me wants them to do an auto-updating server that starts at launch vanilla and then goes through each major update every month before converting to the next expansion and then resets once it hits one of the more modern expansions or for them to do a dedicated wrath server, though I hope them adding new stuff gets them to experiment more as it would be amazing to see some of the scrapped ideas for expansions and raids be realised.
"I quit WoW back in 2010 before Cataclysm because of all the negative talk. Big mistake - it's actually amazing. I stream it now, reliving what I missed."
Heres an idea. Take all the new dungeons they made in Sod ie the leveling raids, and just paste them into vanilla as an option. Leave the og bfd and gnome in the game just make me do something before entering to choose the version. Put a level cap in them so people cant farm them or get power leveled, and give level 60 players a level 60 version of all of those raids.
Yep gdkp ruins wow culture. So happy its still banned. Just like software assisted multiboxing and afking during alterac valley these are cardinal sins.
I've also heard they're trying to crack down on bots in anniversary servers, leading to higher AH prices. Which is awesome if you want to sell stuff and buy stuff, instead of funneling gold out of the game to gold sellers
I think permanent wrath servers with no catch up dungeons would be interesting, gives reason to go through the older dungeons in order , I only joined wrath after ICC came out so I missed a lot of content like naxx
The idea is good xD but in reality with this toxic community in a perma wotlk realm after icc and everything is in xD with a fresh character u will get kicked form rhcs xD dont think that ppl would make naxx and ulduar for those who want to get some gear xD they would say that go buy gold and boost gear yourself than u can do something xDD Im sorry but this is the reality. There are only shit eater speedrunners and boosters.
What's wild to me is that the lifespan to release the final raid tier in SoD will have been longer than Classic TBC, Wrath (if you dont count Ruby Sanctum), and Cata. While its a "seasonal" server, SoD is likely going to last longer than Classic Expansions. Crazy
Dual specs on the anniversary server is clutch. Why this wasn't a part of the the original classic release idk. I get the no changes appeal but at the same time so many healthy changes for the game have been made over each classic iteration and it's like thise game was old when classic originally released. Did they not see some issues with the original game? Same with class balancing and itemization...
@@Ben-iv4yb if they add that, i will start playing classic wow after so many years, if not i hate classic wow because of that. in TBC at least you can fly to the dungeon fast, on classic sometimes party needs 40 minutes to get to BRD and then for clearing BRD another 3+ hours. fk that
these fresh servers have just been 2019 rehashed - including all of the complaints about warriors refusing to tank, people hard reserving belly button lint, general rudeness, etc. if you want to have actual fun on a 'classic' server, SoD is where it's at. people are far, far more chill.
Just lv25 being super casual and first DM I ran was one of the hardest tanking I've done in awhile. @@zealgaming8161 It's HEAVILY nerfed. I tried a couple boosts on my alt, and it's total garbage now. Level 17 in Stockades and he was only getting 40xp per mob. Did two runs and said "fuck this"
I really do believe that when TBC Fresh comes out, they will copy and combine the Anniversary realms with the classic era realms. That way you both progress from classic fresh to TBC and have the option to continously play classic vanilla.
Just give us what we want. Take classic and give us new items, quests, content, and put some passion into the game. Don't give us abilities from other expansions that we've already had. Take classic and when you add content keep in my the RPG part and focus on that. Don't give us flashy mounts and stupid shit.
this is modern blizzard we are talking about here. They're team is consistented of marketing specialists that know how to code. They would have to outsource classic plus to a competant dev team to make classic plus and they know that. They are not capable of delivering classic plus SoD is prime example of this. Their brains will just move to microtransactions, dailies and hardmode content. Thats literally all they know.
Its A Masterpiece. Its the greatest game of all time. You dont need to make videos whether wow is good is 2025. Make that for the whimsical games on the fringes. WoW IS FAR FAR above the rest. I love it for life and WoW is life.
I dont play any version of wow except for hardcore anymore and that will probably not change. The reason is the playerbase. SoD´s gameplay, for instance, is super fun and I like the content as well. However, there is no more fun with the players since they only want hyper-geared and hyper-logged raid groups, they only want to rush the content, they are extremely toxic (I cannot remember when I had the last raid without toxic people or people flaming each other)... or the players give up before even trying an encounter. It is more stress than fun.. and it is sad. I remember 2020 when we spend the entire evening going through all raids in a relaxed manner and we just had fun - even with pugs. Nowadays I cannot find any fun in any version of wow anymore. Additionally, I think that so many players are migrating from retail to the classic versions, being used to the toxic over-optimization-habits, only exacerbates the above. I would love to come back to era or tbc, but I will certainly not. The playerbase is rekt (and btw, addons like RXP are one of those symptoms) PS: Playing on EU, maybe its different elsewhere, but I doubt it..
I played back in vanilla classic, and chose to keep my Naxx geared feral druid in that era. Apparently until wotlk hit, and my character was progressed without my knowledge. I now have a Naxx geared 60 druid.. in cataclysm lol
Currently raidlogging Cataclysm, waiting for MoP Classic. And skipping Anniversary until TBC comes out, it turned out it was my favourite Classic version of the game...
I have never played WoW, and I really want to get into classic WoW. I want to be ready for MOP any advice on what I should play to learn and get ready?
There are plenty of pugs on SOD actually. Since bosses drop way more loots and you can bring more people in raids (like do aq20 as 30) you get loot quite easily
Cata is a good time. Not too much time investment, just about challenging enough that I can be social and be interested in mechanics at the same time. Good balance point for me. SoD strikes me as being a half measure. A good idea that they didn't go far enough with. If people enjoy it - great. Personally I found it to be a bit soulless and bloated.
its going to be tough to keep such a fragmented playerbase going, each wanting different things, and each wanting different content some want hardcore, some want just vanilla, some want vanilla+, some want to go through MoP, some think MoP is no longer classic, some want to go back through an era of classic into TBC and wrath again. i really think they caught lightning in a bottle with Season of Discovery, the runes and new items for new playstyles was really cool and a definite draw for sure, new tanks and healers are always interesting. but i dont know where they could really go from there, they could copy runescape and do their leagues. like, an eastern kingdoms locked season without trading or AH, with rewards of minions, mounts and glamours that carry over into retail and whatever is the current classic expansion.
I quit a few weeks ago after getting mad at a line of bots entering instances. I’ll be honest, though if wrath is a thing again, i’ll probably be back.
60 content raid is a marathon, sure other level range content have more individual difficulties, but do they have anything like the soul crushing grind of AQ40 and Naxx weekly?
60 era PVE still has 2 naxx clear guilds, i hear the PVP still has GDKPs rolling naxx. New people are still rolling into Era, with people coming back from Cata?
Ok, I have been of of WoW for like 10 years. If I would like to start now a Classic WoW (vanilla) is there a option to stop at 60 level? I don't want to play TBC and of course I don''t want to be the only last player who will stay at 60. I just don't like WoW after the vanilla (lvl 60 cap). Is there a option for ppl like me? Besides private servers of course.
Theres no plan for HC to go to TBC, know that theres high likely leaving Anv up. Transfering it to regular era will cause issues in either 2 similar ways depending on which side of the spectrum your on for leaving classic as is. They also messed up big time 2019 classic for character cloning which alot of the player base of felt as if they missed out when Era started popping.
Cata servers are kinda dead during the day but at nights Firelands is packed with people. I raidlog 4 nights with 2 characters, so about 10-12 hours of Cata a week. Very casually levelling a rogue in Anniversary vanilla, and playing pet battles in war within.
I figured they’d slow progression down again once tbc hit… there have been classic era servers available the entire time, so that’s what it made sense for them to increase progression rate for vanilla. Would be dumb for them to speed things up for TBC and wrath
My thoughts idk if I can keep up with the phases and how fast they start dishing them out. I’m a 3D animator n have many life goals I want to accomplish that I just can’t play wow like when I was a kid. N just that the slow leveling experience makes it really hard to not want to tap into boosting just to keep up but I’d never buy a boost for characters or force myself to play something I can get burnt out on. I wanna be a part of classic wow so imma treck on with my friend! Just yah idk if I can get all the rep grinds in BC or hit all the phases these seasons where I kinda just wanna enjoy the game on my own private server, mod a new zone for mulgore and thunderbluff in noggit, just enjoy the content scale it to where 2 players just u and ur friend can enjoy whatever dungeons or raids you want and just have tonsa alts you can have duels with! That is where wow will be fun it’s a really pretty game I wanna make tonsa alts but yah sadly my life is too busy studying to be a software engineer and stuff that I just don’t have as much time but private servers we can create was the key for me. You can also allow some cool stuff all season of discovery is is just modded wow classic so yah maybe make a Tauren Palidan or swap player IDs of orcs n let yourself be a Goblin or Night elves and have a worgan Druid you can play as back in vanilla would be pretty cool!
I am enjoying Anniversary vanilla and looking forward to TBC and Alliance shaman. I don't have time for SOD or hardcore unfortunately but would like to give them a try. I have a level 85 in Cata but I don't think I will ever raid. I will level a monk in MoP.
I am playing on anniversary, but my oce realm is pretty low pop already. hope they give us an xfer one day soon. I would also like if we could do gdkps but probably wont be allowed
I still think Nostralious was better than the 2019 offical classic. And now in 2025, I'm waiting for either CoA or Project Epoch.. I want a fresh experience where I don't know the ins and outs of the game. Even playing on turtle wow right now, exploring the custom content is fun! I don't think I could do og vanilla again.
For classic I want to see a full remake of classic wow with retail grafic, all races and class options but keep all items with just sets added for all classes and speccs. Also, add Tinker class.
Absolutely not. Retail graphics compared to classic is horrible. The graphics are fine. They should add QoL changes and add content to the plethera of dead unfinished zones like Silithus
I play SOD and love it, besides we are to powerful with all these new runes. Normal classic dps would be around 1k, but ppl are doing like 6k on SOD, its WAAY to much for Classic... Give us some class balance (talent tweaks), 1-2-3 more abilities max, tank sham, tank pala and only new content from there.
Unpopular opinion but I personally don't feel the need to progress again through TBC and Wrath.... I'm really enjoying the anniversary edition and hope they'll give us an option to stay there or at least duplicate the toon as they did before.
I hope when Classic Anniversary ends, we can clone our characters to Classic Era. And then when TBC Anniversary ends, we can clone our characters to a new TBC Era aswell. And then hopefully we get a Wrath Anniversary that ends in Wrath Era too. Then hopefully they start another Classic Trilogy progression server from Classic again. Some people will think this is completely dumb, and that's fine - they aren't the target audience for this. Some will say that Blizzard are lazy and ask for Classic +, but to them I say - are you going to pay for it? Realise that Classic players just pay the sub, so we get re-releases. Retail players pay the sub, an expansion every 1-2 years, and mountains of microtransactions. They get new content. We've gotta be realistic here. We might get the odd seasonal server with changes, but Blizzard probably aren't going to commit to a permanent Classic + server so long as we're anti-monetization.
Im new to wow. I play warrior and im lvl 35 with whirlwind axe and fiery. I wanted to try dungeon (graveyard). Well I was invited to couple groups but after saying that im new, i was kicked. Idk if I want to play anymore if new players are not welcomed :/
You talk about cata raid numbers being high because of GDKP, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. As someone who plays wow 6+ hours a day during peak times 4-5 days a week, I almost never see GDKP runs going on.
@@dancinglight8411 we already did that. People that played the game know how hard some runes are, so it makes no sense to keep running on the world. gosh, brain-brain
I know what I definitely won’t play and that’s all that happened before the cataclysm. Despite the fact that I tried all of this, I can’t say that I liked it. I'm considering switching to a retail version of the game in the future. I've been playing Cataclysm since the pre-patch and waiting for Pandaria and these are the main reasons why I regularly pay for the game.
4th reason why everyone raids in Cata: there is literally nothing else to do. I am still baffled people are playing it and are looking forward to Dragon Soul
Personally I have been in Anniversary, and I want them to go to the end of Wrath without an auto dungeon finder. I hate what that did and it made me stop playing Cata classic due to how mechanical and toxic it got. Also, I think they should make a Wrath Era realm, just stays in Wrath forever. I think they could make an anniversary Cata, but I would prefer a vanilla+, not like Season of Discovery that changes class roles, but things like class balance, new content, maybe even Draenei and Blood Elves.
Anniversary is a mess. Mass bots, a huge population of gold buyers, and players who would rather glitch through obstacles than play the game. For the old school classic fans, it’s not a lot of fun.
What a mistake it was to split the community. At this point I don't see classic surviving with healthy populations unless some sort of merge between communities will be done. Maybe Classic+ or something but with classic progression, no fastened progression like sod.
classic anniversary should add moire quality of life stuff like summonstones and xmog this my 3rd time round and the nostagia a 30min to get to a dungeon is well over
thot i wanted anniversay realms.. got to lvl 45.. decided i just dont want to play either now (SoD or era/anniversary)... just burnt out i guess on this game until i get the next itch in a few years

It's probably going to go back into retail.

lvl a character to 60 only to be met with "oh you dont wanna stack world buffs then log off for a week? sry, you cant raid with us"
There is alot of guilds where world buffs is not mandatory:)
TH-cam is censorship
You can stack the world buffs with a item and keep them for whenever you release. Idk if you knew that :)
I cleared all of the raid content in 2019-2020 classic without ever buff logging. Just join a better guild.

Haven’t played since WoD, and WotLK before that. Still never miss a WillE video!
I heard WillE was talking behind your back.
One thing to add to the context here for the 2019 classic release was what happened spring of 2020. I think that has to be taken into account when forecasting peak raid activity/participation on the anniversary realms.
A bunch of communists tried to silence everyone who wasn’t 100% in on the government propaganda? Yeah, I remember those days.

Why is everyone trying to sell Rested XP? Just enjoy the game and stop rushing to the end
Because they're being paid
Because I have 11 alts. I got tired of “taking my time” after the 2nd 85
Basically what you sound like
And I'm someone who enjoys levelling the most too
@@chrisbalcu4033I would run laps around you lol

Hey, I'm a troll mage too! We just started on Wild Growth a few weeks ago and we intend on starting raiding after a few of us hit max.

First name terms with a spirit healer is an underrated line 😂
Got back to SoD after not playing since phase 2, it's super fun
sod kinda dead no?
I quit SOD at the start of Phase 4 because warriors suck a$$, especially 2 h Fury/Arms
Its about the journey, also RestedXP ad 🙄
Cry.
Got to pay the bills and can't judge the man😂
It can be both. I enjoy the journey on my main, then rested for alts to get them up to where my friends and my main are.
Not everyone is as cool as you
I will always be excited for classic and classic era. Through Wrath. (Tbc would be ideal)
TH-cam is censorship
TBC with dual spec will be sooo good
The bad thing compared to private servers and actual vanilla is layering.
Zones feel so dead?!?! Are you kidding? Have you tried lvling in any zone? You have to spawn camp any quest mob its awfull..
Classic era cluster checking in... Still going strong!!

I would also say that a lot of the addons avalaible shouldn't be allowed
GDKP rewards players for there time and also holds players accountable. The best PUGs are GDKP by far.
I've also heard they're trying to crack down on bots in anniversary servers, leading to higher AH prices. Which is awesome if you want to sell stuff and buy stuff, instead of funneling gold out of the game to gold sellers
People bypass gdkp anyways by having people pay for a drop beforehand and when it drops they pay the sum
@@narthvader6298 they just want their raids to die faster. 😂
I think permanent wrath servers with no catch up dungeons would be interesting, gives reason to go through the older dungeons in order , I only joined wrath after ICC came out so I missed a lot of content like naxx
Only someone who missed naxx would want a reason to do naxx.
No thank you
What's wild to me is that the lifespan to release the final raid tier in SoD will have been longer than Classic TBC, Wrath (if you dont count Ruby Sanctum), and Cata. While its a "seasonal" server, SoD is likely going to last longer than Classic Expansions. Crazy
well SOD is some kind of test server nothing else
@ right - and yet it’s lasting longer than xpacs 🤷🏼♂️
Doomers keep dooming.
Meanwhile im having best WoW adventure in ages and were getting new stuff to Sod in every phase
@ I still play SoD too and am enjoying it! I definitely see it as a beta test for Classic+ though
Just wish they had dungeon finder that teleports you to the dungeon 🤣🤣🤣
@@Ben-iv4yb if they add that, i will start playing classic wow after so many years, if not i hate classic wow because of that. in TBC at least you can fly to the dungeon fast, on classic sometimes party needs 40 minutes to get to BRD and then for clearing BRD another 3+ hours. fk that
I've been only playing SoD... it's kinda bullshit that people claim it was dead or dying... EU Wild growth and living flame was loaded at all times.
these fresh servers have just been 2019 rehashed - including all of the complaints about warriors refusing to tank, people hard reserving belly button lint, general rudeness, etc.
if you want to have actual fun on a 'classic' server, SoD is where it's at. people are far, far more chill.
YeaI rerolled Warrior and it's fucking GREAT if you're willing to Tank. Back to back dungeon groups instant invites.
Just lv25 being super casual and first DM I ran was one of the hardest tanking I've done in awhile.
Had to target dummy Van Cleef as healer went OOM, throw grenades, and jump on top of the ship wheel to evade mobs. Hunter pets accidentally pulled the entire ship at Cookie. Amount of deaths at end. 0.
People saying classic dungeons are a joke should stop grinding trough the game with spellcleave.
Only thing they missed with Classic Anniversary is banning boosts.
SOD is deeeeead
@@zealgaming8161 It's HEAVILY nerfed. I tried a couple boosts on my alt, and it's total garbage now. Level 17 in Stockades and he was only getting 40xp per mob.
Did two runs and said "fuck this"
I really do believe that when TBC Fresh comes out, they will copy and combine the Anniversary realms with the classic era realms. That way you both progress from classic fresh to TBC and have the option to continously play classic vanilla.
Didn't you already go through this latterly in another video not to long ago?
$$$
You already got that with SOD and you guys constantly whined. They aren’t going to put money into a game that doesn’t have a cash-shop.
Its A Masterpiece. Its the greatest game of all time. You dont need to make videos whether wow is good is 2025. Make that for the whimsical games on the fringes. WoW IS FAR FAR above the rest. I love it for life and WoW is life.
Agreed, i love newer versions, mostly MOP, WOD and Legion.
Finally someone made this video!!! Thank you!!!
The playerbase is rekt (and btw, addons like RXP are one of those symptoms)
PS: Playing on EU, maybe its different elsewhere, but I doubt it..
I played back in vanilla classic, and chose to keep my Naxx geared feral druid in that era. Apparently until wotlk hit, and my character was progressed without my knowledge. I now have a Naxx geared 60 druid.. in cataclysm lol
are we ever gonna get legion classic?
it will release for sure in a few years from now, after MoP Classic and WoD Classic :)
Currently raidlogging Cataclysm, waiting for MoP Classic. And skipping Anniversary until TBC comes out, it turned out it was my favourite Classic version of the game...
Thanks for the breakdown!
I have never played WoW, and I really want to get into classic WoW. I want to be ready for MOP any advice on what I should play to learn and get ready?
how do you get an UI like that in 8:33 ?
There are plenty of pugs on SOD actually. Since bosses drop way more loots and you can bring more people in raids (like do aq20 as 30) you get loot quite easily
Cata is a good time. Not too much time investment, just about challenging enough that I can be social and be interested in mechanics at the same time. Good balance point for me.
SoD strikes me as being a half measure. A good idea that they didn't go far enough with. If people enjoy it - great. Personally I found it to be a bit soulless and bloated.
SoD started out great phase 1 was amazing then they just stopped caring im surprised they didnt fill it with wow tokens and shit like that
The community is absolute trash, the game meta is trash, and the blizzard classic team is worse than trash... yep
its going to be tough to keep such a fragmented playerbase going, each wanting different things, and each wanting different content
some want hardcore, some want just vanilla, some want vanilla+, some want to go through MoP, some think MoP is no longer classic, some want to go back through an era of classic into TBC and wrath again.
i really think they caught lightning in a bottle with Season of Discovery, the runes and new items for new playstyles was really cool and a definite draw for sure, new tanks and healers are always interesting.
but i dont know where they could really go from there,
they could copy runescape and do their leagues. like, an eastern kingdoms locked season without trading or AH, with rewards of minions, mounts and glamours that carry over into retail and whatever is the current classic expansion.
Trust me. Classic+ TBC utilizing things like SoD did and then you add hardcore. There you have the perfect version of wow that most people would love.
I'm not currently playing WoW or any other game atm, I just want classic+, I'm saving myself for it.
I want a classic+ remake now with new grafics and more class combos. Well, Tinker class should be added tbh.
There is the classic era server, I'm going to start there tomorrow.
It's the same vanilla server started in 2019, will stay that way forever.
I always figured classic 2.0 would be called classic +, but instead, they just called it anniversary lmao
Nightslayer realm is the beat mmo gaming out there atm
I’ve enjoyed cata raiding / leveling so so so much
Plenty of games to play. Played wow since beggining ,now as 34 years old I simply don't wanna waste my precious free time on old game
very happy they recreated phase2, def not for everyone but its only a week embrace it
When they say the anniversary realm is rolling into TBC, does that mean you don’t have to start back at lvl 1 when TBC does drop?
Yes nothing will be reset. You will be level 60 when tbc drops
Is there a way to Change Realms on 20th Anny from PVE to PVP Servers?
I figured they’d slow progression down again once tbc hit… there have been classic era servers available the entire time, so that’s what it made sense for them to increase progression rate for vanilla. Would be dumb for them to speed things up for TBC and wrath
😂 that’s because players numbers fall off after classic 😅 you guys are niche
I'm all for the natural evolution of English, but I strongly recommend writing out "and" each and every time.
please clarify something for me. the classic anniversary servers are going to reset when TBC launches?
Nooo. Omg i dont know how people dont get this
I am enjoying Anniversary vanilla and looking forward to TBC and Alliance shaman. I don't have time for SOD or hardcore unfortunately but would like to give them a try. I have a level 85 in Cata but I don't think I will ever raid. I will level a monk in MoP.
TBC is the only thing I care about ... so sad it's one year to go.
Why is tbc so hyped? Newbie here
Was an interesting video til you started promoting GDKP raids LOL
I’d rather just play SoD. Vanilla servers are fun for the first weekend when everyone is hyped in but after that it’s just the same tedious grind
You sound sick or don’t want to do this one. Missed you on this
I am playing on anniversary, but my oce realm is pretty low pop already. hope they give us an xfer one day soon.
They should add QoL changes and add content to the plethera of dead unfinished zones like Silithus
basically port the great things
@@shinski8114”horrible” lol what. Retail is beautiful, it’s okay if you like the janky old graphics.
They aren’t going to put resources into Classic, it doesn’t have a cash-shop or make money.
Would be noice to throw Era a bone with dual specialization.
SoD left such a bad taste... started strong and failed miserably in so many ways.
I’d like to be able to transfer my SoD character to the Anniversary server when TBC comes out
That will never happen
Unpopular opinion but I personally don't feel the need to progress again through TBC and Wrath.... I'm really enjoying the anniversary edition and hope they'll give us an option to stay there or at least duplicate the toon as they did before.
how many bots are there on these realms? and what is the price of gold on these realms?
why
Through the roof
For classic vanilla they should remove the world buffs, scale down to 25 man and create new raids
SOD is so much fun now since u can get all the runes at level 1
Nice advert
I love how they scrapped one of the main features because players don’t want to actually hunt for their runes lmao
@@dancinglight8411 we already did that. People that played the game know how hard some runes are, so it makes no sense to keep running on the world.
gosh, brain-brain
@@dancinglight8411 u mean swimming 15-18 min for a god damn rune yeah that sounds so well made
😂 listen to this guy advertise a private server
looking forward to Ascension's Classic+ server
I know what I definitely won’t play and that’s all that happened before the cataclysm. Despite the fact that I tried all of this, I can’t say that I liked it. I'm considering switching to a retail version of the game in the future. I've been playing Cataclysm since the pre-patch and waiting for Pandaria and these are the main reasons why I regularly pay for the game.
when aniversary the war within?
Hsppy to hear Era will vanilla come back really alive again when the other versions progresses
It’s so fucking busy now! 😂 your a turd for ignoring this!
Keep working on sod plz, best wow since classic
4th reason why everyone raids in Cata: there is literally nothing else to do. I am still baffled people are playing it and are looking forward to Dragon Soul
Personally I have been in Anniversary, and I want them to go to the end of Wrath without an auto dungeon finder. I hate what that did and it made me stop playing Cata classic due to how mechanical and toxic it got. Also, I think they should make a Wrath Era realm, just stays in Wrath forever. I think they could make an anniversary Cata, but I would prefer a vanilla+, not like Season of Discovery that changes class roles, but things like class balance, new content, maybe even Draenei and Blood Elves.
i just want a perma TBC server. thats all
Anniversary is a mess.
Maybe Classic+ or something but with classic progression, no fastened progression like sod.
classic anniversary should add moire quality of life stuff like summonstones and xmog this my 3rd time round and the nostagia a 30min to get to a dungeon is well over
thot i wanted anniversay realms.. got to lvl 45.. decided i just dont want to play either now (SoD or era/anniversary)... just burnt out i guess on this game until i get the next itch in a few years
Played Seasons of Discovery phase 1 only.... But came back recently and I love it!
Level 46 Human Warlock, will do Shaman next, Druid after and Warrior last.
