Using/viewing this build while restoring a low wing🤠👍🛩️🇿🇦
Excellent, hope it goes well 😀
I already have a Calmato Sports 40 purple version that I absolutely love. I fly it with an OS 55ax and it's a very graceful plane in the air. In another video of yours I had mentioned that I had a spare Saito 62 and 72 lying around doing nothing and i fancied buying another Calmato but couldn't decide on the colour. Thanks to you , I took your advice and ordered the red one earlier today and should have it by the middle of next week. I might put the Saito 72 on it as it would mean having to put less ballast on the nose as this is a tail heavy plane. I had thought about getting the Phoenix Tiger 3 as its very similar to the Calmato. But I have no complaints with this plane at all, its a joy to fly. Thanks for your help, your videos on the Calmato were excellent.
Thank you very much for the comment, happy to help if I can. The Saito 72 in the Calmato will be great!
Looks like a nice model Mark! 100% agree with gluing the wings, and swapping out the screws is right up my street!!!!
Hahaha, great minds think alike! Thanks for the comment it's appreciated 😀
Hi Mark. Nicely presented video, and a nice looking airoplane.
Thank you very much, I appreciate the comment 😀
Thanks for your videos Mark. This video is very useful to me as I have this ARF kit to build. What size Servos did you fit into the wings? Must they be of a specific size or do most 'standard' servos fit? Thanks.
Hi they were jut the standard servos, I think they were 35g in weight. Glad you liked the video
Ignore my comment. I opened the box and checked the wing servo fitting and measured it :)
No worries, its a great plane you wont be disappointed with it, flies lovely
Hello.. I need help on the hex head screws. where did you buy those from?
also, some info the servo wire extenders?
Hi there, this is where I get my servo extenders www.4-max.co.uk/motors.htm and my hex head screwa from www.modelfixings.co.uk/servo_screws.htm hope that helps
Hi. Where did you get your hex head screws from?
www.modelfixings.co.uk/servo_screws.htm
Does it come with servos or not? What servos are fitted? Thanks.
No servos, just the basic airframe. Take a look at the unboxing video to see what is included - th-cam.com/video/UAAL1jJ48IQ/w-d-xo.html
@@MarkRobinson555 What servos would you suggest. Maybe just basic HS311 or equivalent? Cheers.
How does it fly?
You will have to wait for the video! 555
I see in Donetsk, Donbass .
