Dude that betta castle was my first tank. I was 16 and bought it on impulse. After finding your channel I realized that he needed an upgrade. Got moved to a 10 gallon and then just last year got moved to a 20 gallon planted tank with some neon tetras. I’m 19 now and I’m not proud of where I started lol. But I learned fast and he wasn’t in that tiny tank for long.

I am always fascinated by snapping turtles on videos and IRL. Present always in every FTR/roasting tanks episode there is and also watched the previous ones :)
Remodeling my house soon and as soon as it's done, I'm going to get a 40 to 55 gallon tank and create a wetlands Paludarium. No clue what's going to go into it except for several growing marshy plants that are already growing.

Howls moving castle is my most favorite anime. It also sparked my daughters interest that has gone much further than mine. Love studio ghibli in general though.

You need to finish BOTW as the BOTW2 is coming! 🤩 Also about the "botw aquarium" I am almost sure that it is just juices/sap from the branches, sometimes when they are too freshly picked they can do this. You get rid of it easily: get shrimps. 😁 And manually, but is not that effective.

I think he uses the scientific names for plants because there can be multiple species that can share a common name and just using the common name can cause confusion.
I had the seal in my 30 gallon Betta tank break so there was water leaking everywhere, I’ve had to move my Betta into my 100 gal discus tank, I was just wondering what your thoughts on this is? He seems to be doing just fine non of the discus are nipping his fins I had to turn my wavemaker off and I tried to lower the flow for him.

i'd get at least 3 angelfish, if they're the full sized big angels you can grow them out in a 30 gal and then move them into a bigger tank when they're full sized. like a 70 gal. for 1 angel I'd stil say start with a 30 gal.

I have 2 goldfish about 4 inches long and I have upgraded to a 55 gal tank for them while I build them a 100 gal pond. They destroy any plants I have tried but I know there has to be a way to love these two water puppies and give them an awesome life.....looking to be educated. Thnx!
I have a mini pond with a soft shelled turtle and 5 Buenos Aires tetras and 5 Zebra Danios. The fish are way too fast for the turtle and I feed the turtle well, so so far, so good

what substrate would you recommend for planting a 250 gallon tank? trying to work on a low budget but i *need* plants or what’s the point of having a tank that big 😂
You can use ANY substrate, pick what you like best. If it's not a nutritious substrate just lace it wish Osmocote or other ferts or maybe root tabs (expensive compared to Osmocote Plus)
Hi. I would like to ask. I set up a drit substrate, in the middle I place a clay pot for water Lily, and all cap with Crazy stone amazon soil (size s powder). I change water 2-3 time until its clear and then put 10-15 shrimp and a few snails. Now the water become a little muddy. I still see bottom but its not clear. I should change water until its clear, or should put more cap in, or wait? Thank you

This morning all of the other corys are mourning its death. they are sitting at the back of the tank refusing food and not moving, whereas they are usually very active. Any tips to cheer them up? Edit: the largest female who i think is the leader is still alive but all of them have decreased the length of their barbels. they did have a go at some algae wafer but still seem uninterested and for lack of a better word depressed.
I would keep an eye on them to see if they haven't contracted whatever the deceased died from. My condolences for your loss, It must've been very difficult losing a pet so suddenly.
@@peggedyourdad9560 the cory got stuck in a piece of hardscape (trying to get a piece of algae wafer I expect) and was not able to force water through its gills, not from disease, so hopefully no other fish perish to this fate. I have altered the hardscape in a way that will prevent further issues and I will be more conscious of food placement in the future. Thank you for your consideration, although I suspect the other corys have taken the death of their friend the hardest.
