    Why's Samson's wife gotta catch strays? "I'm sure she did a great job coaching him, BUT he's a genetic freak so it's not saying much". Like, what? Samson has historically struggled with conditioning and looked his worst during his last time working with Milos. His wife helped him do what other coaches couldn't. She doesn't deserve a backhanded compliment like that. Also, I get that this guy Quinton does not like Matt, but threatening the guy and admitting to it ain't a good look.

    • @cenunix
      @cenunix 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah true, I think that came out badly but what he was getting at (at least how I looked at it) was that the other Olympia coaches are not actually at the top level of coaching, and as an example, Samson daudas wife just made improvements to Samson that other bodybuilding coaches couldn’t make. So what he’s basically saying is hey she did an amazing job but she’s not supposed to be a guru like these other guys, and these other guys are routinely f*cking up and bringing athletes in bad condition or flat etc. so it is still a slight dig against his wife but I don’t think Phil meant it how you said, moreso he was digging at the other top level Olympia coaches “gurus”.

    • @cenunix
      @cenunix 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As far as the threatening thing goes though you’re right, it’s a bad look, and it also tells you this guy is probably biased. So hey it might all be truthful, but he did admit he’s no friend of Matt and he hates him, so at least he disclosed the bias.

    • @lockatar
      @lockatar 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      I’m a huge Samson fan but from some talks and even from samsons own mouth he struggled to adhere to his coaches plan. Would snack and drink gatorades ect in his prep and over carb up thinking his flat.. his wife was with him 24/7 and was able to keep that under control.. so yes she was able to do what others couldn’t and that’s keep Samson on plan. To say she’s got coach status isn’t true I don’t believe she would be able to jump in and get others to win a show. She knows Samson well and not knocking them cos together they made a great team and I’m super glad he won the title I predicted he would and hoped I was right!

    There are several things Quinton said that really stuck out to me. 1. He was 320 & still fairly lean for that size & Matt pushed him to get heavier/fatter when Quinton's health should be the #1 concern at that size & secondly the elasticity of the skin. 2. Samson beat Nick when he was ripped to the bone but a little flat & Samson wasn't ripped but cut, huge & shapely. Knowing he competed in Texas & Tampa at (Let's say 265) common sense would say Quinton needs to leave for the contest at least around 278 pounds before pulling water/carb loading after such a long off-season. With the added supps towards the end it's probable to maintain bodyweight while changing the composition. I'm not a coach but these are common sense things that would go through my mind as a coach. Aceto says the scale does matter as it's one important way to determine if things are going in the right direction. Quinton is 100% right. There is no excuse for such a major blunder. His pics about a month or a month & a half out where he was much bigger with slight striations in his glutes would have been a much better look after dropping water than what he displayed on stage in N.Y.

    Im a critical care RN involved in the industry. I see some very unsafe practices taught by individuals using their affiliation with Jansen as credentials... riding clout of popularity and influence. Genuinely over promising and underdelivering - taking advantage of the unaware. The list is long of complaints of unsatisfied clients from the camp jansen crew - very much supporting what Viz is saying. In Canada, posting screenshots of private text messages without consent could potentially lead to legal issues. The main concerns are related to privacy laws and defamation. Canada has strong privacy protections under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which governs the collection and sharing of personal information. If the messages contain private, personal, or sensitive information, posting them could be considered an invasion of privacy. Defamation laws in Canada also apply if the content harms someone’s reputation.

    Agree with everything stated in this video.
    As someone that has helped guide athletes...truth is, NO one should be coaching or submitting to someone to be a race horse and blindly trusting another person in this sport.
    Athletes should only be relying on themselves as far as what they take and don't take in terms of pharmacology and dieting. The only person they should be relying on is a good training partner or a solid trainer. [edit photos and a good set of mirrors).
    It's just another expense that most bodybuilders don't even need.
    Not trying to mess up anyones business, but it's true. People need to stop being so tight lipped when being silent only allows for dangerous and sometimes life threatening protocols are being pushed.
    What people need is confidence in themselves and the willingness to do their due diligence in terms of drug use.
    Be safe gentleman.

As I've said on some posts, he wanted that McCarvers family would re-do his autopsy because "he could not believe he did that" but it seems like he wanted to clear his name.
      As per abuse, there are different levels of it. You can push it, abuse it and go to absurd levels when you flirt with death. So let me get this straight Jansen is not responsible or due credit for the incredible successes of Clarida or Walker because they are genetic freaks but the moment they don't peak the way they're expected now he's to blame? Ya cant have it both ways. If you wanna blame Jansen for whatever went wrong then you have to give him credit all the times it went right. Otherwise, it's more logical to say, even with genetic freaks the body is unpredictable and sometimes doesn't respond and it's not the of anyone. Not the coach or even the athlete.
    As for the argument that Jansen only ever got genetic freaks to the top of the sport I'd say everyone who gets to the top is a genetic freak so it's true of every top coach that they benefit from having immensely gifted clients.
    Here's a question for this guest: If great coaching is the main criteria in a competitors success as opposed to genetics, and you claim to be a great coach, then where are your Olympia champions or even top qualifiers?
    The reality is there are only a handful of genetic freaks born each year and most coaches will never get to work with any of them. It's to Jansens credit that he was able to successfully woo a few of them. The reality is, no coach has a perfect or even near perfect record. The great Rambod just had two of his guys beat and the great Chris Aceto watched his client Andrew Jacked place a disappointing 5th. All this points to the fact that there are many uncontrollable variables involved and coaches get too much credit for both victories and defeats.
    Finally, let's not pretend drugs don't matter or that using underdosed or fake gear, for even a few weeks couldn't create an insurmountable setback. These guys "peak" for 12-15 weeks. Assuming they start a new cutting protocol 15 weeks out and the drugs are bad, let's say weak not entirely fake, it's possible they wouldn't notice for weeks. Then when you do would you immediately blame the gear? Maybe not. I can easily see how you might not figure it out for 5 or 6 weeks. If you get new gear in week 10 does anyone think that losing those weeks wouldn't effect the final look?
    Personally if i were coaching at that level and taking professional responsibility for their look I'd also take responsibility for their gear and I'd want to know it's 100% legit. Apparently Jansen doesn't supply the gear which puts him in a precarious position of being held responsible for his competitors physiques, despite having no control over one of the biggest factors (the drugs).

    That’s why Matt Porter was the best coach. He took average Joes and turned them into pros

      Funny too since when Phil coached Sebastian burka to a disappointing placing at nationals they blamed fake gear. Seb said in his post show youtube video he had been using fake gear since his last show a year and half prior but they were somehow unaware until 8 weeks out

    Not illegal to post receipts, but remember what these fake ass gurus and supplement company owners banded together and did to Nick Trigili when he was exposing these clowns😂😂😂

    I do not understand Quintons complaint of Matt when the partnership with him came to an end some time ago... why reawaken this already dead issue? Quinton was the one who made the choice to go to leave Dorian and go to Matt at the last minute before the Olympia. The discussion at that time by followers was WHY IS QUINTON LEAVING DORIAN (changing coaches) THAT LATE IN THE GAME (close to Olympia)...???
    In Quintons's last show where he complained of his look saying he lost muscle, which was not true, it was more of not holding enough fluid/carbs to look full.
    After a week or two past the Olympia he did a video showing how he looked after feeding/hydration he looked more FULL. So the issue was fullness which come from not carbing up enough or not drinking enough water or too much diuretics.
    Nonetheless, despite perfect preps, carbs, workouts, fluids etc sometimes things just do not work out as desired and this is something athletes must come to the acceptance of.
    Derek Lundsford had to pass the crown to Samson and seemed bitter over it... Despite his feeling he did everything right... he lost the crown to who was seen as better.
    Don't like the way BBing is going, too much gossiping, shallow feelings, insecurities, backstabbing etc.
