SC Remembered that lead singer, David Coverdale is 70 years old. He has been singing for 57 years with bands such his current band plus the one, Deep Purple, as a member of this legendary band is in Rock Hall of Fame in 2016. Other comments mentioned that Coverdale is doing final tour with his band, Whitesnake.

Would love you guys to check out Lord - Freedom (official video). The name Lord comes from a nickname given to Tim, their vocalist/guitarist, no religious stuff haha It's a mix of live footage and tour stuff. The band are 100% independent and have no issues with copyright etc

this is not peak coverdale. his voice is in bad shape by the time of this show. peak coverdale and peak whitesnake are to be found on 'live in the heart of the city'' a double album from 81 a good sampler of it would be side 4 which contains ;trouble' and 'mistreated' the latter of which, in my view' is the best version of mistreated ever. there are also videos of them doing the same set live from that period too.
I saw them in 90 with Steve Vai on this tour. These vocals here are definitely past prime, because he was wailing back then. Got to also see Kix with Donnie Purnell that night open up the show for them. They were on Blow My Fuse tour. They flat fucked that place up. Great performance. Steve Whiteman is a damn great frontman. Used to vocal coach Lzzy Hale, too.
