As an owner of a M.N.80 94010 bought 18 years ago in Brest, and recent owner of the FXD, I can only agree with presenter's take on this model. This stripped down version of the Pelagos is completely in the spirit of the original snowflake models: rugged, legible, simple.
So great to hear you got a vintage one... our big passion to find them. And indeed the modern one is such cool beast in spirit with the old one. Enjoy it to the fullest.
Love my Pelagos FXD 😎 Had 3 great pickups in Nov 21: - Submariner 124060 from my AD 😁 - Tudor Pelagos FXD from my AD 😄 - Bulang&Son Caramel Leather Strap 😎
I've got the Pelagos FXD Alinghi Red Moo Chronograph. Fantastic piece - love it. Pity the strap that came with it (because I bought it in Japan) is too small for my wrist. But I can really see the quality in that textile strap. Excellent video!
The issue watch has a different dial.different strap so at best this is an homage to the military issued watch. Its a lot of marketing. The issued watches are different.
Have you see the issued one live? I have seen 1.. and only about 50 produced. That was quite the same. Different dial indeed and different engraving. And a different strap that is more suited for their work, but you would not wear on the streets.

Here’s hoping B&S will make some high-quality velcro-NATOs of their own… I’d love to have more options to wear with my FXD. Great review.
Me too
I love that fixed spring bar. Best tool watch I’ve seen….and a superb price point.
As one who enjoys a more classically sized watch, I wish this was 40mm or below.
This review is very helpful and provides lots of information about Pelagos FXD.
coolest watch that I've ever owned! match perfectly with my active lifestyle.
Right on!
great watch, with a beautiful dial, it will be a highly sought-after piece by collectors!
Absolutely a winner from Tudor 😎🔥❤️
I just got the call from the dealership today 😀
Love my Pelagos FXD 😎

Love my FXD too
Can You please give me The brand of youre eyeglasses ?
Thanks, they are Cazal glasses
@@bulangandsons7438 thank you
How does this compare to the Sinn U50?
I Love Tudor!
Nobody gets out of a submariner that’s a submarine
😂
I love this watch, but it’s just too big for me. I’d they made a FDX in 39mm I’d definitely pick one up.
120 click bezel, bi directional and the crown is not the same knurling as compared with pelagos.
7:30min to get to the actual watch? Other than that, nice video.

@@bulangandsons7438 la fxd n’est pas utilisé par les commandos Hubert c’est une montre hommage rien de plus, mais elle est magnifique ça c est sur.

I’ve seen one, they only say pelagos 200m
Like very much your footage and love Tudor watches. But you must say submarine not submariner…
Rolex is so iconic…
OMFG, get to the review already. 13 minutes of rambling intro.... Outta here.
