As much as I hate prosecutors and as very happy as I am that the case has been dropped, I am in total support of this prosecutor defending herself with the best answer, which is "I do not recall", because like anyone else, guilty or innocent, whom I like or dislike, she has the right to defend herself.

I want you to know that I work in construction and regularly put my safety in the hands of professionals operating heavy equipment and setting up safety lines I trust my life with my life. Same as they trust me to do my job right when I set up the winch to lower and raise them out of deep holes or when I’m expected to rescue them from confined spaces. If I were comfortable with the person paid to keep us safe with the guns I would pull the trigger trusting the bullets were duds. I don’t see how he should been charged with a higher crime than the person who clearly failed in her job of making sure no weapon was loaded with live ammo. He trusted her and someone else paid for it.
@@PJMontoya Safety requires multiple backup or redundant requirements. That's why planes have multiple backup systems. If one fails it will not lead to death. Are you saying that the plane only needs one and we should trust the operator and maintainance of that system because it would save a lot of money which is what happened here. I am sure you must have redundant procedures to follow in case you have a bad day. No human is perfect and we all have days where our performance may fail to reach our typical standard.

It was the armourers job to make sure the gun was safe. It was her primary function. She handed him a lethal weapon and said it was safe. It was an example of how safety is ensured by not relying on a single source in case of failure and that even the best people are not infallible. This is applied universally in all places when possible if you are serious about safety.

The prosecutor claimed that she wasn't familiar with the procedures of the Sheriff's office The Sheriff's office staff involved with receiving the ammunition claims that they followed orders. Everyone's defense is that they were just doing their own little job.
Why aren't actors on a movie set afforded the same right? Why was Mr. Baldwin expected to address the safety procedures assigned to someone else?

The state made a mess of this. The whole thing was nuts.
She wouldn't deny she said those things about Baldwin. That says all you need to know about THAT. But that being said, she's not on trial for what she may or may not have called Baldwin in private and therefore has no bearing on the case or the evidence or withholding of. So, it was an unnecessary issue to even bring up.
Perjury has serious consequences no matter who is on the stand for what party's trial.
It was proper giving how many mistakes and lies she had during this trial that it was bought up...anyway she got her due punishment..and Baldwin a victor.

Her comments and behaviour do have bearing as they show bias. A prosecution should be based on evidence, not because you do not like someone.
