I would've picked this up if it had different face options for the rebel trooper (I already have two with this look - yes, it is based on one of the actors in the hallway scene). Can always use more stormtroopers though. I have six of the new one. Aiming for eight or ten.
I'm a big Rogue One guy and don't have the first release of this, thanks for the info! You think they would have changed the skin tone or hair up a bit
I bought a few of the Rebel Trooper when it first was released but its a really decent figure so I didn’t mind getting more in this pack. I just need to scour Ebay for alternate heads so I don’t have a bunch of clones. I haven’t opened my Starkiller set yet so this will be my first experience with the new Stormtrooper. I have a few of the Lucas version that I bought to troop build so it will be interesting to compare them.
I love Star Wars, but I don't collect the figures. I also don't normally watch Star Wars related reviews, so this was my first good look at Black Series figures in a while. They look great, but I'm surprised by the lack of articulation. I have the heroes from Star Wars: ANH, as well as Vader, a Storm Trooper, R5D4, Dagobah Luke with Yoda, and ROTJ Boba Fett. They are all older figures, though. The only current figures I collect is GI Joe Classified and I have a few Action Force. I assumed they were a good example of the current "standard articulation". I figured (no pun intended) that all the Hasbro figure lines followed that articulation style now. Are these reissues of older figures, or is that just how Black Series is built? What about Marvel Legends, are they as articulated as the GI Joe figures?
If I had one...complaint/nitpick with this set I wish they'd included an alternate head or two for the Rebel trooper, especially for a troop builder who's face isn't covered by their helmet (or aren't a clone so they're supposed to look the same anyway).
The Death Star plans are the best accessory
Rebel Trooper is from an grey haired actor in New Hope.

Yeah another head/hands included would have really pumped up purchases for these

So the Stormtrooper is new, the Rebel Trooper is a reissue (as far as I know) and unfortunately, all Hasbro brands have different articulation
So in terms of effort put into toys its Joes>ML>Starwars is how I see it :P
@@TheHairyGorilla GIJoe first, then military aesthetic figures, then ML/SW 😏😂
Should have been a different race to set this set apart, so this is definitely for army builders.
Yeah that would have been a nice touch
Human race*

Yeah that's a solid problem. Maybe they could have thrown another race head/hands or an alien head etc...
