About Satisfactory:
Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory building game with a dash of exploration and combat. Pioneering for FICSIT Incorporated means charting and exploiting an alien planet, battling alien lifeforms, creating multi-story factories, entering conveyor belt heaven, automating vehicles, and researching new technologies. The Satisfactory Train update and Nuclear update also adds in trains, train stations, and nuclear power plant to enjoy, if you can handle the nuclear waste that is! In some of our videos, we go over Satisfactory tips and Satisfactory building tips, as well how to build a mega base and manufacturer setup. Our Satisfactory Early Access let’s play ep 1 was started a few months ago, but now we have hundreds of hours since Satisfactory ep 1 and have built a giant base with computer production, supercomputer production, a huge nuclear power plant and hundreds of trains! Our giant train system covers the entire map and gathers uranium, deals with our nuclear waste, and Satisfactory trains are a very satisfactory way of travel!
Satisfactory Update 3 also changed the game entirely adding pipes, Hyper Tubes, the Awesome Shop and Awesome Sink (aka Resource Sink), a new desert biome, a new vehicle, and a ton more! Recently though Satisfactory Update 4 released adding in the very Satisfactory Tier 8 with: plutonium, plutonium waste, a hover pack, the blender, a battery building, ziplines, gas, reservoirs and wells, drones, new space elevator parts, and a whole lot more too!

Satisfactory is an FPS open-world factory building sim by CoffeeStain Studios. Loving the storage area! I'm sure you have dozens of comments on it - but the RSS 2 (Really Simple Signs Mod) already has your logo added to the custom signs section. So you can chefs kiss that storage to perfection ;)

Check out the Real Simple Signs mod to upload your custom images! I absolutely adore this setup you have, and one suggestion I would make is to switch out the 0.5m signs for the longer ones. You can place them vertically with the help of beams if I remember correctly. I could be TOTALLY wrong, though.
Kibitz, you need to mention the Lego Satisfactory Constructor the devs mentioned a little while back. If you get people to go vote for it, it could be reviewed and maybe even become an actual set.

I'm surprised there isn't the equivalent of the Cities Skylines move-it mod for Satisfactory. Would've made the bit with the pillar much easier

there is, its called micro manage, and can do much more than just move stuff, rotate increase size in various axis and more, its is what was heavily used on making the spaceship map from the previous video

I just returned today. I still remember a lot of the update 1 and 2 stuff but the rest isnt too hard to learn.
I used to watch your videos about 2 years ago, but I then stopped playing satisfactory in jan 2021. I just came back to it and its nice to hear your iconic intro
1 Year Plus, want it known that this is one of my favorite videos. Especially compared to recent ones. I liked watching you figure out a solution. Recent videos are you booping through mass things.
I get that a lot of it seems mundane to you at this point, but I really enjoyed watching you walk through your thinking while solving a problem vs just showing "and then I just did the answer and solved 100 manufacturers"
It was fun watching you solve the game vs skip the build phase.

I would love to see some funny things on the signs in the background. Like, when you say: "Right?" that the signs say things like: WARNING Core meltdown
If you want to add your own pics in signs... the solution its RSS2 mod !! Its a little finicky to learn the process but, the results blown your mind !!!
That whole storage facility reminds me of that one corridoor in the trailer for the new Five Nights at Fredy's game. All it's missing is the zig-zagging lights on the ceiling.

I'm almost finished with a Turbo fuel thing, and I've been decorating my buildings with strips of colored signs, really nice stuff.
15:13 you can spin signs freely on the end of Pillars. so place a beam where you want your Neon Strip to start, perpendicular to the wall you want it to go on. snap a pillar onto it, put your sign on the end of the Pillar and spin away, once you set your angle with the first sign you can just snap the rest to it. feel free to contact me if you still need help, Its a huge time saver!

You should make the storage like a "V"... When you enter, it is real wide. As you get deeper, it becomes more narrow. Each bin being 1 or 2 or 3 "snap ticks" offset. In the middle of the "V", at the wide entrance, you can put your statues and a sunken "disposal bin". You would be able to see all the signs in one shot, from the entrance. It also makes the "lines" a little easier to manage. They will all be offset, so you can layer them from any direction. (As opposed to being inline on two of your common directions N/S but spread ultra-wide E/W. In all four directions N/S/E/W they will now be "spaced" as they are also at a diagonal. So you can have 1/4 going N, 1/4 going S, 1/4 going E and 1/4 going W, out the spaced holes in the walls.)
Pro tip, you can use ctr+c/ctr+v to copy paste sign settings faster

Maybe take the top sign and instead of an arrow, make them like A1 or B1 or some marking system. Would make the room very expandable if you added more bins
in the K room you should have the pillars bend around the door.
if that made no sense prepare for long explanation so keep the pillar in its original position above the door but curve it around it or use straight lines to make an arch which you can add signs on as well.

signs will follow your beam if you put a temp beam where you put all the tiny signs vertically you could then use the long signs

I make storage facilities as if I were a supplier to ficsit so it's a massive facility with mega tons of storage yet its basic and I think they look good until I see another imkibits video then I realized decor is not my strong suit 😂 absolutely gorgeous storage!
Are you storing every item you can make in this storage room? Do you have a break out on how the logistics will work and a list of how you organize them on either side?

There is a mod, Micro Manage allows manipulation of parts. It has made position tweaking so much easier.

Well lets start with a kibitz kult
Real Simple Signs2 lets you use your own images. And it has vanilla shapes as well, so the mod sign will look just like the vanilla sign.
