Thanks I just ordered these using your link! Got the white as well for my white GRC! Update: just installed these and ur video helped a ton. It took about 45min and was super simple. For $25 it’s a no-brainer. Really a nice touch. U got a new subscriber!
@@Haloruler64 I’m uncertain my initial message went through, however unlike your driver light working correctly, will the passenger switches work similarly with this fix? I ask as I’m a layman, and if the fix does work, would love for you to show a “How To” video if possible. I’m a new GR-C owner too!
@@Haloruler64 It appears TH-cam doesn’t allow for links. If this does work, a YT video showing how to a layman like myself would definitely help the community. Hope this helps and would love for your input.
@@Haloruler64 Correct. I believe you advised your driver bowl light turns on with the headlight switch, and your passenger switches turn on only with the engine running? It’s my understanding that this fix resolves this, and all will turn on with the headlight switch being turned on. However I’m very much a layman so k could be wrong.
No, they are just connected via power and ground. But unlike most aftermarket lighting that's garishly bright, they're really dim as is, so I don't feel like they need to be dimmed.
When they're cheap enough! Waiting for 2023+ Corollas to get crashed and parted out so I can snag the illuminated XSE switches at a low price. OEM from Toyota they're probably $300 each?

at least the color isnt blue like the stuff on amazon/ebay. I am pleased, thanks for your vids
Yeah that's why I had to get em. Glad it helps!
Looks good! Solid little upgrade.
Will you also be installing the illuminated window switches as found on the CE?
When I can find a set cheap enough, yes! Hopefully crashed 2023+ regular Corollas will start being parted out.

@@titudoan5108 I guess I don't understand, what is the issue exactly? Is it that they don't turn on without the engine running?

Nice upgrade! If you dim the interior lights with the factory dimmer switch, will these dim as well?

@@Haloruler64Surprised there isn't any aftermarket parts for this. Not having illuminated door switches is kind of a pain
@@InvestWithAlex there will be! There are aftermarket switches for the 19-22 that are illuminated but they glow blue. We gotta wait for white ones.
Wish it was a pure white instead of a "cool" white. Or if they made a red as my interior is pretty red
applicable on altis 2015???!
Sorry I don't know, we do not get the Altis here.
