Morning Pete, good to see the super C out for its first run, least its not in the mud yet😱 she is testament to your skills mate, I am sure you will get many hours of fun and work with her, sickle mower doing under fence lines maybe? Always a great start for my hospital day watching you at work or play, thanks mate Rag from down under
Pete acting just like a little kid! I Love It! You Deserve It Pete! You did an amazing job on the Super C, congrats on an amazing restore. Appreciate you sharing and do a few donuts for me! Looking forward to seeing you in the spring over at the Farmer's Market my friend!
Don't short yourself on "being a mechanic". You are more of a mechanic than a lot of people I've worked with. Your restorations are amazing! 20+ years in the industry here.
Pete, I gotta say, you are a very interesting person to just sit and listen to. You disseminate knowledge that can only be gained from experience. You are always fun and enjoy every day. I am addicted to watching you and find I am always anxious to hear from you. Thanks for all you do. It is the highlight of my days.
Over the course of a year you have completed 2 tractor restorations and bought 1 new tractor. This is a great achievement and you should be proud of yourself. Congratulations Pete
Congratulations, Pete. That "Super C" looks fantastic! And she purrs like a kitten. It's interesting how the teenage boy seems to come out of us whenever a rebuild is complete. The doughnuts in the snow were a real hoot! I'm so happy for you, buddy. God bless.
What's the difference between Pete and "a trained mechanic?" A piece of paper. You're a great mechanic Pete! Nice work, and glad you get to have fun with it too!
HI, Pete!!! Your videos are always good fun ... and give some chuckles. By the way ... 12 Centigrade is about 285 Kelvin ... Your weather is nowhere close to absolute zero ... Have a great day!!🖐
Boys and their toys! You have a right to be proud of this restoration. And the videos are great - enough detail, but not too long and spread out among all the other farm work. I can not wait to see the next one.
Pete. I am an 82 tear old agriculturalist. A degree in Horticulture, taught at an ag school for over 20 years and cut my teeth on a new 1955 Formal cub and still love them even today, especially the whine sound they made. I know you may never restore your cub as there is no real use for it on your farm, but I would love to see it. I check every morning as I eat my breakfast to see if you have posted a new video. Those red tractors are better than new and I can see your pride in your work on them just oozing from your pores! I love all your videos, market animal, tractors and all. You are the best!!! Dave
You don't see the kid side of pete much but I loved every second of it! Very happy that your done and satisfied with the super c. Enjoy it Pete! I'm going to miss the "mechanic" series until the next one!!
You did an outstanding job on that Super C Pete. I really like how it turned out. Thanks for taking us along on your journey through life and giving us the opportunity to learn and be entertained!
Oh Pete, you are crazy you’re just like a child with a new toy out in the yard playing you did a great job, redo it that now it’s time to pick another tractor and start to rebuild. I love watching you. Tell them all apart work on them and put them all back together again.
8:39 it doesn’t matter how old we get or how big our toys get we will always find a way to do cookies in the slippery snow. Love this. Definitely shows your young spirit.
Taking off the muffler to get in and out of the garage reminds me of my grandpa's tractor shed. The door was too short to drive in with the muffler on his H's and they had the narrow front wheels like your Super C. So, he trenched a narrow ditch out of the dirt floor - deep enough to get the front wheels lower so that the mufflers would clear the doorway. Of course, it was easy for him to drive in and out, but not so much for this 12-year-old. The Super C looks great.
Enjoyed the nut and bolt restoration of old tractors. It contrasts well with what we call a not well-organized and not meticulous run country/economy to the meticulous assembly, replacement, and repair of the Farmall Super C. Some people just have that needed talent.
Get yourself a GP relay off of something like a 1986 Ford truck. Hide it somewhere and use the wimpy one that fits the tractor as a trigger for the relay. It will still look stock.
I FINALLY bought my first tractor. It was my pastor's father In laws. A 1961 Ford 841 Powermaster. I am not going to do a full restoration, but I'm looking forward to taking some things apart and figuring out how they work.
Donuts on the Super C. haha. Must be a great feeling to know it's all buttoned up, running smooth and back on the field. Looking forward to the next project with the 756.
Anybody else saying to the video.. " Pete could use a seat belt!" Now i see how easy farm accidents happen. The rebuilt restored tractor is beautiful! Well done
I bet that narrow front end is 1000 times better then the wide front that used to be on there . I love narrow fronts they can be a little scary sometimes but. Any tractor will flip over if you don't drive it right
My hours of enjoyment watching your videos has to be small in comparison too the hours of time spent producing and editing. But please understand how much enjoyment you provide to a retired individual who was a jack of all trades. I grew up on a farm, learned mechanis from a retired mechanic. My other skills were printing, Truck driver, and I retired from construction after 27 years as a traveling Superintendent, I worked with many great Architects, building Hotels, Court House's, Churches, Schools, Medical Office Centers, and Warehouses, and Retail space. Thank You so much for your content and wisdom. J. Stowers
My husband and I love you channel. He's a farm boy from Ohio and I'm a suburban girl who loved riding the H on his father's farm. Today, Dan came home with a coffee cup with an IH tractor on one side and a red barn on the other, so, in honor of you, he's got a new coffee cup! (Tried to send you pictures, but by tech talents are limited.)
I tell you, my husband couldn't agree with you more. Parts for ANYTHING are so cheaply made today. He's been trying to find new faucets/pipes for our outside water taps and he's been very frustrated doing so.
Omg , we have been waiting for this moment, such a big smile on our faces 😀. Such a beautiful machine Pete , great job and thank you for helping us through winter here in Montana !
I’m a mechanic, and not only are you very good at the spannering you are great at talking about it. Hopefully a few subscribers will find the confidence to give it a go after watching these videos!
You hit on the farm and ranch credo...Acquisition. We always had to find parts in obscure places and even a little experimentation to get things to work. Like the time we had to use a MAZDA mini truck alternator (modified) to replace the one on our 1957 Massey Looked almost identical to a ford 8N. Sometimes you just got to MAKE things work. Necessity is the mother of invention. Always great work and good fun watching Pete. The burnt ends look good enough to eat to me, just needs some rice and asperegus in butter to liven it up.
Pete, what a great way to break in that restored Super C. Was as much fun watching, as you were driving it! Too bad the burnt ends didn’t come out like you wanted, but the sure smelled yummy from her in the Champlain Valley! My restoring of snowmobiles, is just what you said, I decided to do just one brand, but I also restored many others. Mine was Arctic Cat. You are so right, but when I started, you needed the Manuals, because the computer was no available, and certainly correct, you never get back money wise, what you put into them, as they are all a true labor of love. 😊😊😊
Pete, there are a lot of hacks out there that have no idea or couldn't care less about fixing a tractor correctly. They slap a paint job on it and try to sell it as "Fully Restored". Polishing a pig, unfortunately its still a pig. You on the other hand took an old tractor completely apart, piece by piece went through it all, fixed and restored it the "Right Way". I am a professional mechanic, and I it makes me very proud to see someone such as yourself bring back an old machine to greatness. You are the definition of a "Real Mechanic". Congratulations on your masterpiece.
My father in law, who was a sawmill owner/operator, had a John Deere 1010 tractor which was his bread & butter.. He wasn't a trained mechanic but he sure knew his mechanics. Often he had to improvise with parts from wherever he could get them. The carburetor for example came off a model T but it worked fine. Time was money and he never once ran into a dead end with repairs. I have great respect for old school mechanics.
It’s absolutely amazing seeing such pure joy and happiness! And well deserved as well for all that hard work! It is such a beautiful tractor, and it’s because people like you putting so much love and care into them, that we still have them running almost like brand new!
Not only does it look great, it also sounds great. Heard you pull it (RPM) down with the brakes, it's got that smooth purr sound like it should. Great job and another great video. Thanks Ray.
Start the day off with Pete makes it a great Friday.
Yes, it will be a good day starting with a video from Pete!
The temperature gauge does appear to be working. Keep up tht good work. I love the program.

Pete's glee at doing donuts in the field is so infectious.
His videos make my day better

First thing I did this morning was watch Pete in just a few acres farm. What a great way to start the day.

That narrow front end certainly turns tight.
Around the southeast of Ohio a wide front end is worth twice as much due to the hills we farm.
