I've got to tell you, from a livestock management perspective, that edition to your barn knocked it out of the park! Especially given your labor limitations. I really enjoy all of your videos. Thank you for the content.
Especially if a blizzard hits there is no need to haul hay bails from one barn to the other anymore. Not sure how much they got in the past storm and there is going to be a round 2 and round 3 this upcoming week..
Another fabulous episode. I especially love the aerial footage, the farm and the surrounding area looks so beautiful. Thanks for sharing Pete and Hilarie ❤💙
I live on 14 acres in rural Western Pa. Several years ago our neighbors son flew his drone over our place, and those aerial pictures just gives an awesome view and whole new perspective of how our land and the surrounding area look. I really enjoy the aerial photography of your place, gives you great insight to see nature slumber and at rest during the winter months.
@@janetyurkin822 I live in a place called Slough, 6 miles from Windsor in the UK 🇬🇧. Unfortunately I also live under the flight path of London Heathrow Airport so my drone is restricted somewhat. Pete and Hillary, this is Craig from Lees Summit, Mo……I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the editing on your videos is absolutely amazing and adds sooooo much to your videos! I can sit here and watch your activities day in and day out and never get bored with them. You may feel that some of your daily activities/chores are repetitive, but they absolutely are not! Each day is a different day, and I for one enjoy it each and every time. Keep up the great work you two! Craig
I am so grateful to see you guys this year. I love watching your Routines of how You prepared to go to the marketplace it is always a pleasure to see both of you all thank you for being a part of my world.
Another vote for simple routine and also the quiet farm noise intro. I just like hearing the sound of feet going through snow, cows munching, the tractor humming.
I deeply enjoyed this video! This is the one channel on TH-cam that I pray never ends. I so very much enjoy watching every single episode. Whatever it is that you post, I'll watch.
And there you have it, an American family working a small farm, doing what is required of them, with grace, intention, love, commitment, courage, and all the other attributes associated with regular folks living their lives out on the internet in 2024. It don't get no better than this. Love from Tempe, Arizona.
absolutely love seeing your cooking videos. Sometimes when you see different meat selections in the store you don't know how to cook them. Pork belly is now on my list to try using your method...Love watching Hillary on these videos!
Love the long form content Pete. Mixed it up with a little ASMR at the beginning.Nice. a little animals a little equipment a little business knowledge. Amazing video today.
Good day to all. As one that cooked for a living, love to see a lady 'dig in ', unapologetic looking forward to the next bite. Next smile and laughter.
Another wonderful video Pete and Hilary. Thank you again for allowing us a peek at your everyday farm chores. Your videos are always spot on and very informational, educational and just plain interesting.
I thought you starting out the video in silence was genius. I half expected you to do the same for the entire video. Once again, it is a very enjoyable video.
Lovely! Thank-you! My favourite farming day was Christmas Day afternoon, when I'd go back from my in-laws, alone, to feed and water and attend to the stock. By then, the turkeys were in everyone's tummies, the sheep were, therefore off the pasture and the pigs, I guess were in the freezers of friends and neighbours, laying hens cozy in their coops. Lovely! Bkeassings all. Ps and the mixed manure composting nicely! Best stuff that God ever made!
I liked the trouble light in the refrigerator to keep the eggs from freezing. I had a 15w florescent light in a freezer in an unheated shop to keep rust and corrosion off my rust prone and electronic tools. Cost about $1/month to protect my tools over the 4 months of winter. Cheap insurance.
Really enjoyed this video, Pete. Mix of farm and maintenance. New cattle barn is a really game changer for you. I'll bet. What about that pork bellie! I was drooling just watching you cook it!!
Ahhhhh, sitting by the wood stove, eating some good quality Ramen after a day of snow blowing and watching Just a Few Acres Farm. Perfect ending to the day. Thanks you two.
That was a relaxing video to watch, all you needed was that fireplace going, I would wager it was going, what a great way of life, here's to you and your family
I really enjoyed this entire video. The new style beginning, the arial shots, the music at the end! Just makes a great video production even better than normal. Thanks for bringing us along Pete.
Perfect combination of all chores! If you want to show machine renovation, go for it! We watch because it is you, Pete! Mix in machine reno as much as you want. Your voice, and your choice of words is the best, so, no worries on your content. You keep it real!
Pete, my wife and I loved it! The first few minutes were fantastic. I like the chores with no voice over. My wife thought your pork belly looked delicious and is going to try it.
I always liked cleaning out the pens in the cold. Was always impressed with how much heat is generated. The pile would steam for hours on a frosty day.
Pete, love the way you started the video with just the sounds of the farm nobody talking it was beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing the video it was great.😊
Great video, kids. You are a great team. Confirmation, also, that there is always something that needs done, even at a low Kelvin degree. Beautiful shot from the drone. Head Country is made where I live. We have used it for years. They also have rubs, marinades and other products. Happy winter. Stay warm.
I definitely agree. I keep leaving for various things either with work or family trips, and I just don't like most other places as much as I do here. @@glenwitteman2585
I loved watching you two pack for market, id be happy to see more of that and maybe a whole view of everything that is going that day 😊 favorite was seeing the heifers play fighting in their nice clean pen
