Мне очень понравилось, прям зацепило! Почему-то думала, что не потяну музыку Дмитрия Дмитриевича Шостаковича, ан нет, в душу вошло! Спасибо большое каналу!
The photo at 12:25 is of Shostkovich trying to open a bottle of Stalinade - he is not smiling (it is well documented in the Volkov biography/autobiogrphy 'Testimony' that Shostakovich was UNABLE to smile due to a severe case of ifugrinugotogulatis.
@@steveegallo3384 a real piano played by a professional is preferable if it is a good recording. The real piano has more overtones from pedaling and playing legato. Some people have been fooled into believing they are hearing the real thing with my virtual piano, which is a high compliment.
Amazing sound. Shostakovich is just one of Gigantic COMPOSER. Real master. In this Preludes we can hear the Bach's deep influence.
Funny, I was just wondering if there was a Bach connection listening to these

Lol
Sounds worrying, like the kind of music that could be used in a horror movie. That's interesting.
Maybe Mr Shostakovich tried to emulate the Goldberg variations? Got me sleepy...
06:27 intenso y hermoso
52:53 es de un agrado, la escucho y mi mente proyecta la escena de cualquier buena película!
Experimental, interrogative and yet playful music.
“Virtual piano”?!? What, wasn’t there a real piano anywhere??
No real piano, just software generated sound files, using Finale notation software. Thanks for listening.
@@stevenbeall8162 -- In your professional and personal opinion, are the two sources Indistinguishable from one another? Thanks from Acapulco!

Great pieces, but the flat and lifeless piano playing does the work no justice.
there are not 2 books with 24 preludes and fugues in each. he wasn't as great as Bach.
I understand, but the printed edition of the Shostakovich Op. 87 refers to #1-12 as Book 1, and #13-24 as Book II.
@@stevenbeall8162 i thought as much. Probably the soviets pretending to be greater than they actually were.
