@@creativebobbin42 I am practicing knickers making. The quality here in Hungary is not to my liking. Then I must finish 4 cushions for my outside gazebo. With “ boxed” corners and zippers. After my trousers are on the agenda. I had help measuring my body from a dear friend. So slowly moving along. But your teachings are the best. I am less stressful trying out sewing, and very happy with my new Pfaff quilt expression. That seems to sew by itself. So much to learn, and you make it easy too with your kindly made videos. 😘👍🏼
@@InekeDusseljee Wow you sound incredibly busy! Thank you, it's good to know my instructions are clear. What are the kind of things you'd like to see coming up? It's hard to know what people want to see?
Hi, It's generally used when you just need the fabric to have a bit more strength / rigidity. So for example, if I made a dress which had a floaty skirt, but I wanted the bodice to be a bit more structured, I'd add an extra layer of fabric underneath. I generally use a 100% cotton fabric, and the weight varies depending on what I'm making. Does that answer your question?
@ Yes, that makes perfect sense. I am going through all of your videos, one at a time. I have already learned so much. I have always appreciated sewists that know how to take it up more than a notch. Thank you.
Incredible. I love the clear, straight-to-the-point instruction. Thank you so much.
Thank you ☺️
Now these tips are quite useful. Thank you. 😊
I'm glad they're helpful 😊

Hi Ali, can you tell me what type of fabric is used for interlining? I am assuming this is something used for more formal applications, am I correct?
