Why does Air New Zealand always go so hard on their safety videos? This was so beautiful! I have always wanted to travel to New Zealand and fly Air New Zealand ever since I saw the first Lord of the Rings safety video!
I just flew Air New Zealand and I loved the introduction of the video. made me feel like I was already in New Zealand. I just saw the more updated video with the same people enjoy the dream liner 777
I took a flight From Chicago to Auckland Nz27 and I loved it the seats were amazing and the food was the best I ever had in a plane and the crew was always there for you in the 17 hour flight.
My goodness! Brilliantly done! Not ashamed to say I'm wiping very emotional tears here!! So much care put into every detail! Y'all do the best commercials I've ever seen in my life (of 52 years). Gotta say, these are right up there with The Hobbit; only with these, the humor has such a strength, it's serious, yet still funny. It pulls at the heart and soul! Love this! I will be in NZ in my heart.

AIR NZ safety videos never dissapoint. Always great to see how they combine culture, pop culture and the safety instructions. NZ is the most beautiful country I have ever visited and NZ as the flag carrier never fails to perfectly represent NZs spirit.
ha maori are not indigenous people of NEWZEALAND no one is indigenous here every one who has ever come here has come by boats to be indigenous you had to walk here by a land bridge NEWZEALAND was not fished out of the sea by Māori it broke of Australia who have had their indigenous people the abos for 50 000 years
Its a very "romantic" sweet add, but the Maori historic culture (just like European) is hardly peaceful and cares for the environment. The Maori hunted the Moa to extinction, wared among their own tribes and even boiled human heads to belittle the enemies they had conquered. Cannibalism was also a very real part of the Maori culture, all facts largely avoided when creating this romantic view of historical Maori culture.

I worked for Air NZ and my dad did for 26 years. Their ads are now shite and instead of the iconic Koru they use silver fern and crap on and have Cringy adverts. At first they were ok, but then had that dumb Moari kid then that weird non binary looking kid
I really, really hate commercials so I must say I was really very pleasantly surprised to see the extremely tastefully and well done safety ad by Air New Zealand “Tiaki and The Guardians”. Although it’s five minutes long it’s well watching the whole thing, and then rewatch it in amazement. “Good Show!” Air New Zealand!
Absolutely amazing and creative safety video. Blends tradition and modernity perfectly. I saw this first time during a domestic flight from Queenstown to Auckland on 15th Nov 2022. Amazing airline from a beautiful country.

I really, really hate commercials so I must say I was really very pleasantly surprised to see the extremely tastefully and well done safety ad by Air New Zealand “Tiaki and The Guardians”.
