      Thank you for the feedback! I will keep this in mind as I make future videos 💗 As a quick fix for any that have already been posted, you can slow the playback speed of the video down to make it more comfortable. But I will for sure be more mindful of this! Hope your day’s going well 💗💗

    What if I’m over-empathetic/too compassionate? I’m considering working in this field but worry that I won’t be able to handle the emotional drain due to my hypersensitivity. For example I can easily feel the feelings that other people feel. If someone is sad, I will be sad with them as if I was experiencing what happened to them. If I watch a movie, I feel like I am one of the roles in it. This is the main thing that I concern about. Which one of the three levels will you recommend in this case? ❤❤ thank you for reading

    • @AnnaBea
      @AnnaBea  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      hi!! I love seeing how self-aware you are because that is such a key factor in finding a role you'd be successful in :) if the emotional drain is something concerning for you, I would maybe recommend macro social work because you'd get to make real change for real problems but may not be as interpersonally connected (for example, not having to sit in a room and hear someone recount their personal trauma experience). however, this is not to say that you would be unsuccessful on the micro side of things -- you would just want to be proactive with knowing which populations may cause you too much strain and be proactive with taking care of yourself (whether that is through self care type outlets or through engaging in therapy for yourself). I hope this is helpful insight!! Empathy is such an important skill, but I do understand where hypersensitivity requires an emotionally-safe place for you to work. You've got this 🥰🥰
