Im a beginner to this so take this with a grain of salt, but i used 8.5 ft of rope and it wasnt nearly enough, even for my tiny hands, so i would recommend like 10ft. of paracord. Thanks
if you want a diamond knot you might want to use 10ft of cord....well that's handy to know at the end of the tutorial when you've been following step for step.
can this be done with a belly fishtail knot? I'm using two colors. will try this method. please let me know if you find a much simpler way for 4-6 core belly fishtail mad max style. Thanx in advance

So I just started cutting them longer than the suggested length by a couple of feet and measuring as I went until I got it where I wanted it. Found it easier than trying to follow length suggestions exact. everyone's wrists are different. mine are 8 3/4"

Dude you need to be a little more exact with telling people how long to make their paracord lengths.......not cool.
Dermis Adams you adjust the length of the password to the length of your wrist. typically it would be a foot of cord per inch
