      Or Red and egg yoke or whatever color that is. Kinda looks like it's got a tad yellow

    I think I might use a couple snake knots to tie it off vs the solomon knots. We'll see how that works. Thanks

    You've stated you used 9ft and 4ft of cord for this bracelet. Is that taking into account all the cord you had leftover at the end of the design or have you taken that off the total length? You always seem to have a lot left over when you've finished the main part of the design.

    I have made a couple of these now for people who saw mine and asked for one. It is fun to experiment with color combinations. Is it hard to do with buckles? Is there a tutorial that has this design using buckles? Not sure if it would look as cool but just wondering.

  • @rudycorona6964
    @rudycorona6964 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    ok well we commented i dont see the buckled version Im going crazy trying to remember how i made the one i have in buckle and noticed that it must be using a four strained core and the main color is wraped around once on the out side 2 and to make the center you wrap the main color around 2 middle strains of your four core thats why you have all three weaves having the inside color the same unlike this one that only 2 are red and the 3rd one is gold please do the buckle one if you have not or can you send me a link as two were the buckled one is or who has done that one thanks man love your stuff your a true PC weaver

    Do you think it would be possible to connect the golden cord with another red one so you have 3 inner red ones instead of 2r+1g or wouldn't that hold in the long run?

    • @utterdisplay
      @utterdisplay 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You'd have to fuse it. Don't see why it wouldn't work though.

    • @utterdisplay
      @utterdisplay 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      But it wouldn't be secure to use as proper paracord. If it's just decorative I'm sure it'll hold on fine.

    • @YojimboH
      @YojimboH 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dave Rents yeah, I wonder of what fusion would be best, a 90degree straight cut or an angled one. Yes this one would only be used as an decorative armband.

    • @TheBoomshine
      @TheBoomshine 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Karl Lund - Have you done it yet? I think all 3 inner cords being the same colour would look a lot better. I'm thinking of making this style trying it. I'm guessing for the 9ft cord he used, you could just use 7ft and fuse 2ft onto that, and that 2ft will match the 2ft of the other two cords. The fuse can be hidden in the middle of the cow's hitch type knot.

    This is a pretty thick bracelet. How much should be added to the length to make it fit a given wrist size?

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is quite thick, I have difficulty myself figuring out how much to add, but due to the nature of this one, you can figure out how much you need as you go. I would hazard at least a quarter of an inch for this one.

    • @cristoferurlaub4184
      @cristoferurlaub4184 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds right. Also, It just occurred to me that since its adjustable, it wont be a total loss if I have to go through a little trial and error. Thank you for the response! Love your videos!

    Do you push them all together tightly or so you leave some space between them

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I pushed them up as when you bend the bracelet it will make some space between the knots.

    The term "mad max" is really overused in the paracord world these days.

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      How so? It's just used to describe the style of bracelet clasp/closure.

    • @imaginehydreigons5377
      @imaginehydreigons5377 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheWeaversofEternity thanks for replying, btw i love this style however i know that the madmax closure comes lose overtime, i saw somebody use a prusik knot to keep the loop tight but he did it on a cobra weave. I was wondering how to integrate that prusik knot in this style or any other style.

    • @danabell819
      @danabell819 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. Especially bc I learned while I was in the Navy in the early 80's b4 there was a "Mad Max" style. We always just used knots to tie than off. We didn't have buckles. 🤙🏽
