Do y'all serve collard greens at Thanksgiving? Here in the South, we sure do. There's just never a bad time to make 'em!
I have been making your collard greens for many many years. But I follow your internet receipe using chicken broth and ham hocks. So delicious I always get people saying those are the best they ever have eaten. Thank you Paula❤
I've never added butter to mine! Looks delicious 😋
What?! No butter?
😅
@@mddell58 I know right haha 😂 I cook mine in chicken or veg broth, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar red pepper flakes 😋
We ate at Paula Dean’s at the Island in Pigeon Forge last night and it was the best meal we’ve ever had in the mountains hands down. And the view of the Island decorated for Christmas from our table was beautiful.
Great collard greens recipe. And the necklace so special and beautiful. ❤
I agree Mrs Paula!! Turnips are my favorite too, along with some cornbread...that's a meal!!! ❤
All of my mothers sisters cooked me turnips when I go there house
The collards at The Lady & Sons there in Savannah are the best I have ever eaten !!
I had never even tasted collard greens when I made your recipe for them. Thank you so much for sharing this yummy recipe!
That's going to be me as well! Can't wait to try them. How long do the greens take to cook?
@@Nannipat72 the longer, the better! Seriously, until tender. Collards are a thicker leaf and prob take longer.
I love collards ! I’ve never put butter in mine but I will try next time. As you say, butter makes everything better! Love ya Paula❤️
This Stewed Collard Greens recipe looks so delicious 😋 Paula.
Eddie has got your kitchen decorated PERFECT!!!!!! Yay!
And . . . it looks soooo homey💯
Yum! They look so good. 👍👍😘
Love the colorful decor updates! Love seeing some of your beautiful vintage copper and color and textures on the set again.
Lots of.love & appreciation to you Paula ❤️-Connecticut
Absolutely ❤
Love collards and mustard greens. High in vitamins too!
Love your necklace and those greens look great 🎉🎉🎉
I also pot liquor with cornbread
I add a little apple cider vinegar and a sprinkle of sugar, because collards can sometimes be a little bitter.
How long did you cook them?
Five minutes. The link to Paula's recipes are always in the Description section at the top of the page.
You must try my version of collards. Cook with breakfast links sausage. Or you could roll loose sausage into balls and cook til tender. Onion is optional. Our favorite.
Ugh..They look good Paula, but I hate greens..LOL...❤
I slice my collard greens the same way.
Water in collard greens 🥬?? You use to be my hero Paula 😢
Teresa and Eddie are Paula’s slave.
Paid slaves...Theresa spends way more time choosing the recipe, shopping, and prepping then Paula dies dumping and stirring.
@@robinhays1011 U appreciate them too. Just stating facts.
@@robinhays1011 Give it a rest and get some fresh air. Slavery ended 160 years ago.
@@robinhays1011 This is a comment section. Too bad you don't agree or like it.mine. And no need to lecturer me twice or anybody else for that matter about how aging people need more help. That is just common sense to even a child. But Paula had a personal assistant and an office full of helpers 20 years ago. And with her success and money who can fault her that is only to be expected. So Eddie and Theresa are not there because she can't prepare her meals on her own, etc.
@@robinhays1011 And oh Robin, naming calling is not polite. So again go get some fresh air and chill out.
I'm hooked on your channel
