My first car I bought was a 68 charger in 72, I paid $450.00, it was metallic gold with black vinyl top, but it was just a 318cid with a three speed column shift. I don't know what the axle ratio was but over 100mph easy in second gear. The speedometer went to 140, and no doubt it would have done at least that stretched out.
