i dont mean to be off topic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
Thanks to the Dukes of Hazzard (tv show and movies) there really arent a hell of a lot of '68-'70 Chargers of any stripe left! Its nice to see one pretty much unmolested. Thanks Shawn!!
That is really sweet and have always wanted a 70. Chargers look best in back and are such a sinister-looking beast much like a lot of Mopars of the era and why I've always been attracted to the brand. That and my first car was a 68 and have actually owned two of them over the years, including a hot RT with built 440 and added six pack that was a bad boy and very quick
It’s so ironic because MOPAR has always been about those loud, vibrant colors but the black on a charger is like Red on a Ferrari or Corvette! It just accentuates the lines so well.
Has to be the best looking car of any kind ever made. Somebody must’ve been to heaven and came back to be able to design this car. Nothing beats it. Nothing comes close except the challenger.
68’ been a dream car since the film Christine but OMG this 70’ is awesome... Happy Holidays from across the pond.... looking forward to Shawn, Paul and Kyle killing it in ‘19.... Peace
I know I'm late to the party here, but the 68'-70' Dodge Charger has always been my favorite car, muscle car or not, PERIOD. Its styling is timeless, even today, it looks so futuristic. And it personifies the very term; "muscle car", it has the look that says; "Don't F with me". And this restoration is how it should be done, yes, modern upgrades are needed, but they add to the car's performance and stylistic heritage, something that the original designers would have totally approved of, and even encouraged. I especially like how the tires are close in size, just a little bit bigger on the back, not outrageous, which is useless on the street and for daily driving. The engine has a lot of punch and looks great! Sometimes, these resto-mod guys can get overboard with too much flash, and not enough practicality. This 70' Charger RT/SE is like Goldilock's porridge, JUST RIGHT! It's like a truly beautiful woman, she doesn't need a ton of makeup! Loved this video!
This is my dream car down to the trim. The black paint, the minimal mods just to slightly enhance the driving, the SE trim with the power windows and steering and all that, just magnificent
The first car that I bought at age 18 upon high school graduation was a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T in Plum Crazy (purple) with white top & interior, and the 440 Magnum engine. So fast. Could spin the tires for blocks (not that I ever did that...). Cost in 1976? $500. Beside awful gas mileage, the only other down side (for me) was that guys were always trying to steal it. One morning my father came out the front door of the house and found a guy sitting in the driver's seat. He was able to break into the car, but he didn't know how to start it!
I had a black 70 rt se 440 in 78 when I was 16. It was a total bondo bucket beater! But it was still cool as all hell! The one thing I like about mine over this one is mine had the console shifter.
Holy hell! When I was 8 my dad had a dead ringer charger but it had a vinyl roof. Triple black a red butt strip with rally rims and with the 440 automatic 727 on the center console. I'm 42 now and have my own 68 Charger but MAN do I miss that 70. Put his friend to shame when we pulled into a parking lot. His friend had a 69 302 boss mustang yellow with black stripes. Everyone that was looking at the boss stopped to walk across the parking lot to see the charger. His friend got pissed off and left. NO JOKE! My dad pissed his friend off that day and as a MOPAR man nowadays it's something I'll remember forever.
That's really a awesome charger it's nice like you said to see it tweeked up some, but not totally custom and almost every part on the car is modified there always room for improvement. But those cars were bad from the factory at the time. They where fun to work on ,now everything his so hi-tech and need a money tee in the back yard to buy and customize,The regular guy priced out of the game.
Cali has always been known for nice rides and even American Graffiti was based on cruising and raising hell times there, that was the best and when America was at its greatest. We've got a lot of nice rides out here in Phoenix as well and like Cal, there's car shows at about every Park on the weekends unlike the most of the country
10/2024: Good Day From The Future. Stunning Beautiful Car. Love the wheels & tires. I had a 1968 Charger RT 440 in 1973. AC, Power Steering & brakes with console shifter. The car was in original factory condition, in excellent condition. I didn't know about the SE Edition for the charger until now. I did own a 1970 440 Challenger RT/SE though. I have had a few MOPARS over the years. Thank You Both for sharing this car with us. Best Regards (I have subscribed) *P.S. There have been so many wonderful MOPARS.
One of those cars is on my bucket list me and my brother had one when we were kids we were teenagers he made us take it back he told us that is too much car for you boys
68-70 B- body charger......body style will NEVER be out of style, hands down the most bad ass muscle car to ever come out of Detroit
👊
Hell yea brother
No kidding that body style is royalty till the end times. Arguably the best looking muscle car ever designed.
Absolutely beautiful
My dream car! Especially the SE version
i dont mean to be off topic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..?

Everyone and their mother has a mustang or Camaro. But this… this is badass!
That’s all you see at car shows 😂 rarely do you ever come across one of these beauties
The stance on this machine is amazing, cleanest Charger I've ever seen
Most beautiful car i’ve ever seen

@@joshmagallon1957That's Nothing more than Your Opinion, For Me Charger 70 is the most beautiful and I love the 1969 Charger R/t too.
Now this is grown man car
Yes. ...it is
Great comment
Absolutely
The best..
Do you ever look at a car, and think it would be the most badass thing to drive? This is one of these cars
I had the exact car back in the day. I think that's the best year for the Charger. I like the scoops on the doors.
Good Day. I had a 1968 Charger RT 440.
Thanks to the Dukes of Hazzard (tv show and movies) there really arent a hell of a lot of '68-'70 Chargers of any stripe left! Its nice to see one pretty much unmolested. Thanks Shawn!!
And the Fast & Furious franchise it is nice to see a simple old school Charger.
LOL Jesus, we must be getting old or something! LOL (Nah!!) @@AutotopiaLA
Dukes never used the 70 model, the 68 & 69s.
That 440 motor sweet!!Love the years 68-70..all-time baddest muscle ever made💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Something about a black Charger man. Love em!
It’s so ironic because MOPAR has always been about those loud, vibrant colors but the black on a charger is like Red on a Ferrari or Corvette! It just accentuates the lines so well.

The pealing rims were the best....typical mopar trash. No wonder they were bought so many times like the cheap hoo-uh they still are
That is one hell of a car!!
Thanks man.... You made my week.
Awesome! And I totally agree. Killer simple old school Charger.
@@AutotopiaLA
I have to confess, i own the same RT/SE 70 and a 69 440 6 bbl Road Runner.
My dream car 💪♥️
Same bro
Saaaame

Me too!
The most beautiful car ever made.
68’ been a dream car since the film Christine but OMG this 70’ is awesome... Happy Holidays from across the pond.... looking forward to Shawn, Paul and Kyle killing it in ‘19.... Peace
Thanks and Happy Holidays to you as well. Always a cool car. Just something about that body that is mean and aggressive.
I love the mini-tub look but it's nice to see a decent sized tire under a stock wheel well.
Agreed.
But would even be better with the magnum 500 rims.
Fast and furious movie made me love this car
They did make the Charger even more famous
Most beautiful car ever produced! Chargers are the best. Period. Thanks for sharing this car to the world.
My dream car
This always has and always will be my dream car 😍🧡 One day I will own it.
This car is beautiful and I love the mentality of the way it was restored

The best looking car ever to come out of the USA and up there with the DS and E-Type for looks.
Best year by far. Had one.

I want a 1970 charger so bad for my first car but that isn't going to happen if we can barely afford groceries and rent
I get it. Sorry you’re having that financial setting currently. My wish for you is for you to own one of these some day.
Same here man I was in your shoes once but I grinded it out keep going you will have this charger. No bullshit
Such a clean original car. Wish that was my RT when I was over !!!!! Still had fun in mine tho. But don’t quite look the same these daysb
