I chose not to do drugs or drink... But I can understand why someone would want to ease their suffering. I deal with clinical depression, anxiety, PTSD and have been suicidal (even though I've been in therapy since age 4, I'm now 49). If I hadn't witnessed what alcoholism did to a family member, and vowed I'd never want to be that way, I probably would've ended up an addict... Don't judge something you don't fully comprehend. And don't think in the blink of an eye that your whole life can't change. You aren't superior to others.

20 years ago Jessica Simpson answered one of my questions in a Yahoo Q&A about In This Skin lol. I asked her why she did "Forbidden Fruit" after explicitly saying she didn't want to do more dance songs. She responded with "Well, I had to do at least one!" IDK why I'm posting this lmao. She needs to make a legit comeback. I know she's richer than any of her contemporaries from that era due to her business ventures, but ugh, she has such a great voice and great taste in who to work with. I miss her making pop music so much.

This is the best I've ever heard her. I knew she had a great voice but I always felt as if she didn't know how to use it. I guess she had to truly find something she felt deep in her soul.
