Hurt people tend to hurt others. My 15 years of hell marriage is finally over. He was a narcissist. 6 counselors and years of therapy taught me I have to look inside myself to find happiness and peace. Every counselor labeled him a narcissist. I will never get those 15 years back or the money he pissed away, etc. I have moved on with a clear conscience. I sleep at night. I'm no longer on antidepressants. I have a peaceful life I am dating a wonderful man who he treats me with respect. Namaste

My birth father has been everything negative or shameful, in one the most cowardly ways ( by someone in his past) at least to me. Not anymore. She's no longer alive, her laws are gone. Momma didn't need to make him into all that when telling me about him. Human would've worked. I never needed him to be perfect, just human.
