The Creppiest thing ever.......last year I was listening, with earbuds, as I mowed my lawn, to this song for the very first time. I continued mowing through the duration of the song, even though I knew I need to stop for gas. When the song was over, I pulled up to my truck, where the gas can was sitting. My phone rang, it was my nephew. My oldest sister, 62 years old, had gone in for gallbladder surgery that morning. When I answered, my nephew informed me that during the surgery, something went wrong and she had not made it out of the surgery alive! She passed as I listened to this song. Thank you, Jamey Johnson for leading her home!!!

My mom's mate for over 10 years was a Christian man of the highest order and he went to hospice a few weeks ago and I pulled this song up on TH-cam and laid it on his pillow to hear it as he was dying. He was practically in a coma but raised his hands over his head and mumbled the words to this song. God is real and he is here with us all now most just don't understand his strength and power. But you that don't better before it's to late.

I lost my only daughter in February 2023. I never imagined that God would require me to bear up under such a heavy load, but He brought me to it, so I must walk through it. I thank God that He gave me the opportunity to walk her through her fear and reach out to the arms of Jesus shortly before she went into that final coma and died. This song reminds me that I will join her in Heaven as my life comes to an end. God has never forsaken me in spite of my flaws. He is walking beside me and carrying me when I can not walk on my own. My daughter sang like an angel, and I wish I had been able to share this anointed song with her.

We lost my 57 year old nephew suddenly on Valentine’s Day this year, and this song touched my heart. My nephew had been very sick and didn’t let on to anyone what was happening. By the time we got him to the hospital it was too late, he had a bacterial infection that had gone into his bloodstream and into his heart and lungs, and two of his valves were leaking. He had artificial valves put in 24 years ago. The surgeon and cardiologist called our family into a room and told us he was dying and he would take him into surgery to try and save him but he was as sick as a person could be and the odds were he wouldn’t survive the night. He was such a talented musician, and played in a band called The Flatwheel Band and opened up for quite a few famous bands for years. This song made me think of that night and our saying our goodbyes to him before they removed his ventilator.

I have listened to three or four versions of Jamey singing this. I think this is the best Version. Acoustic guitar and his voice. Brings me to tears. I have went through so much in 2023. I literally thought some nights were my last. At one point, I literally had no one or anything. Some said I was feeling sorry for myself. Maybe, but I went through so much I prayed to God to take me everytime I laid my head down in that lonely camper. But i guess the Lord wasn't ready to take me. My angel here on the ground was taken from me on march 21st. While I cant hold back the tears, I know she's gone home and I pray that God has mercy on me so that when it's my time he will save me a seat next to hers in eternity in his house close to him.

My husband was in ICU with the return of his lung cancer. He had coded during surgery, left for 4 minutes and was brought back. This song seemed to comfort him in his last hours of life.
Although I’ve fought with colon cancer for ten years, I’ve now been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer. I’m praying this can somehow be beaten into remission. It can’t be cured. Needless to say, I have to prepare for the end of my life.

He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.’ (But this spake He of the SPIRIT, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)” I honestly felt a better understanding to know that God needed to be in His glorified body to “divide” Himself into millions to be with each and every one of us! Wow! Our heavenly bodies are going to be beyond our imagination and it’s beyond our comprehension right now what our theophanies and glorified bodies will be able to do! We are going to be so amazed and so grateful that God loved us and calls us His own. I hope this encourages you somehow! Sending love and prayers! 💕💕🙏🏽🙏🏽

The first time I heard this song was at a funeral for a Man that I loved very much and really brought me out of the depts of hell. He served in Viet Nam as I did 68 thru 69 and when we became friends a bond was formed that no man could break. He had returned to Viet Nam 2 times and finally convinced me to make a trip back with him. First time was 18 days, 2010, best thing that has ever happened to me next to the birth of my daughters and finding God. He wasn't lost I was. Since then I have made over 28 trips back and average of 40 days a trip in fact I am in Viet Nam right now. I lost Doc on 5/24/17 and I miss him every day, but I do believe i will see him again. Thank you Jamie Johnson I listen to this song all the time and ech time I remember all the good times with Doc and it always brings tears to my eyes and confidence that I will see Doc again.

Lord this song gets my heart everytime I hear it , I lost my mother in 2020 and lord knows it still feels like yesterday . I helped take care of her for 5 1/2 years me and my baby sister , so I know the Lord has greater plans for me or he would have taken me off this piece of dirt a long time ago . So I know one day I will see her again in another life .
