I have a mental block against pencil shading my tangle patterns. I believe it is because I am always experimenting and found that I force myself to find new ways of getting the same results. I have become very fond of using different values of gray Faber Castell Pitt Artist pens and end up being very satisfied.

This is a beautiful tangle and your'slooks perfect. I am 65 years oldand have shaky hands as well. Your voice is so calming and encouraging. I am so glad to hear you will be getting your knee surgery soon. I have had both knees replaced and never regretted it for a second. Wishes for a successful procedure and a quick recovery. I enjoy your daily videos, but take all the time you need to recover.
Yes my other knee is 6 months out and I don't know what to do about my hand in the meantime... But it will all work out! It always does!

Two knees and a hip. Then blown Achilles
Recovered quickly. Two weeks after hip replacement drove to Montana. 900 miles. No problem. Do your. Excersizes.

I relate to the ugly stage reminder. This week I threw a tile out. First time. With cadent no less. Purely ruint. Made me slow down. thank you for slipping in the word breathe. Watching sped up videos is opposite world of this practice, and I notice I rush thru many things trying to keep up...even have to talk slower. This season of tiles and mono tangles feels different than my usually over busy mind and matching drawings. Silly to feel guilty leaving spaces, but then the pattern has room to breathe...and i notice a sense of false guilt in many ways I feel too slow, and then make mistakes...which aren't easily fixed with a gel pen swipe.
As for your knee...you're covered in prayer for right timing, personnel, rehab, recovery, and success.
I struggle with speeding up these videos but it's the same dilemma as last year. Most people watch about 1/3 of the video, but my message is to slow down and appreciate the creation process. It is tough to find a good balance!

I had my rt knee done last Mar and had an epidural awake and eating lunch the same day. My left was scheduled for Arp 22 but cancelled until further notice

U should have your thyroid checked if u haven’t already. I was having horrible shakes hands and had hyperthyroid. I thought I was just nervous.
I would like to post a picture for you that I did of finery. I don’t know how to do it. Can you give me any instruction or guide me to a tutorial that tells you how to do it. Thank you. I will tell you that I changed it up a little bit and embellish it differently . Are used thorns instead of boxers and used colored in Ormes and not as many as you used. I’m sure you can imagine that without the picture.
